Corvette crushing party/Byron
Any one know what the deal is?
16 day and counting...............
That dosen't leave a lot of time for you to
put a bottle in those Red, small block!
After last year, I hope to make a few more passes,
well more than 300ft. anyway.
Bring on the Vetts!
Do they have pretty Red one's too?
It just looks like common sence that
a Snake can be very fast on land!
A Shark out of water is helpless????????
Thanks,
Glen B.

I plan on being there with my little blue slow pokey smallblock. I'm going to plug the other 4 spark plug wires in this year.
Who else is going to Byron. It's getting awfully close and there hasn't been any heckling yet. That's very odd for this group of weirdos.
So........... the question is who is planning on going to Byron Dragway on May 13th.

I plan on going, but not to race, just want the thrill of seeing the cobras beat the vetts.

Corey and I are planning on going just to be there---should we bring the trailer?
If I was to enter a pool, I think I would rather pick a color than a make of car!!!

If my car is repaired in time, I'll be there. I shifted too hard into second gear over the weekend & spun my tires. I think they're ruined.

I'm not sure yet, but I might be going out to Byron this Sunday 4/30
All up in the air rite now. You know how it is...Got to shake it down.
If I can get the car dialed in and hooked up with no one around
from the club then I can d-tune the car to make it fare for the
rest of you.
I hope every body shows up on the 13th,
pray for good weather and FE's

A guy in the shop knows someone in the vette club. Evidently they have a couple 10 second vettes in their club that plan on showing up. Where is Captian Kirkham and Hemi Snake?
Regrettably I will not have the new 17" rims and F1 tires in time, but I will run anyway on my 15s and BFG "solid rubber tires". I can at least take out the weak ones from the herd.

Prediction:
Mike, Wolfie,Chris, Sid, and Rich S. Show up to race.
Blas, Frank, Jeffko, and RedSnake will show up and root us on.
We'll all help Glen push his car down the whole quarter mile this time.

Vette beaters?
I'll be there, with my little whimpy 6... hopefully I can get at least in the 13's this time.
Hey what about Spina? with that twin turbo?
And Eric with the nitrous? IN other words WHO'S RACING?
Yeah that's right I'm callin' you punks out...
Throw down or stay home.
Hey and before you guys start talkin' all that smak it might be smart
to go over and check out he competition.
Yes I do think they may have a couple of ringers?
One vette with a stage two 3.8 GN has run in the 10's.and I've also seen a
69 (I believe) vette with a blower that was running about 10.8.
And another C5 witha supercharger running low 11's
It also sounds to me like there will be more vettes there racing than snakes.
Going there to watch??? Man what a bunch of whimps...
if we get beat at least we should go down swinging not holding up the fence by the stands.
Maybe it's time to go over to the DARK SIDE................ Where's that used car ad paper?
Oh,Oh ... TAKE COVER, .....INCOMING...................

I'll be there, but which side should I run on? Sounds like the cobras may need some help so I'll be there with an other blue cobra hoping beat a few vettes. Bought some new drag radials just for this event. can't wait to run them down. Fred

OK.............
Smart a$$
If you all push my FE down the 1/4 mi
how many mule power would that be?
It's still more than a small block!!!!!!!!
10 sec. Vettes...........WOW
If I call Jegs today, I should be able to get
a Roush motor,6-71 blower,Richmond T-10,
Strange rear and a pair of Goodyear 17" wide D1's
Anyone coming over to help cut the hood and fenders
of my Midstates. Almost forgot the wheelie bars and
a box of depends. If I don't fill up my dipper a 60ft, you
can bury me in them. Put the car in the same hole!
You will never get my hands off the wheel.
Glen B.

Darn right it would take more mules to haul a big block than a small block. That's why big block cars are so slow.
