Hi everyone,

I had a great time at Saturday’s St. Charles North High School “Cobra” Car Show, enjoyed our S & E breakfast, and lunch with my WCCC family. We had a great car showing, eighteen cobras by my count, picture perfect weather, and it was fun retelling some old stories, new lies, etc. with friends. (Just kidding about the "lies" part.)

Sorry I couldn’t cruise with you after the show or didn't say goodbye to everyone when leaving, but Joe’s car was “acting up” during the drive to the show and thought it best to follow him home. Fortunately, we made it home without incident.

Go out and whip some Corvette A$$ tomorrow at Byron. Have fun, come back with the low ET trophy and be safe.

It sure was a good time at the car show. I thought that it was a very generous of Mike and Frank to donate their cars for the anger/stress management sledge hamering to help the school raise money for thier project. I thought it was worth the three bucks for the three swings--------even with my tennis elbow!
Maybe next year Sid will donate his car.[Name: arcy.JPG

I was a GREAT day.
The weather could not have been better...........
This was my first chance to see the newest addition to the group in it's finished state. Mike great job! Kim it is a bueatiful color combination - very striking.
The highlight of the day has to be when the tow truck arrived, you know, "just in case Sid's ride broke down".

A 'summer treat' to see a long row of Cobras attracting all kinds of attention.

Thanks Rich for your comment about my car...the newest addition to the group...And this is my first post.....What a beautiful day..20 cobras (Mike counted) the sad part is if we had not of shown up what a sad car show it would have been....NEWAY..Shelby & Sid took my car for a ride (they helped build....how could I say no). OKAY I could have....but what a mistake that would have been. I don't think I've ever driven an Everett Morris (sp?) with a Viper engine or a Backdraft at this pont in my life...mmmmm..maybe I'll knock that off my list of things to do someday??? I hear they thought it was a nice ride. I still have a black sharpie in waiting for those who helped build it to sign the inside of my trunk......GESS already took the honors of signing the body!!!! Thanks again for supporting Alex...U All Rock...I haven't come up with a quote message yet, yet but how about........So not a soccer mom....????

Kim,
I hope Alex got lots of extra credit for making the day a success for her school.
Of the things I have ever thought about you I must admit that 'soccer mom', was ever on the list.
So how are y'all getting two cars to London?
(Is there a letter missing from your user name -should it end in an 'e' ?).

Maybe it's a field length issue. You could do it like a license plate and use the number 1.
or

I don't know - anyway I knew what you meant........
