Oh sure. It's all about you guys. I might as well skip breakfast and keep the weight of my fat a$$ down. Or would I be better with a little weight on the rear for traction?

You'll need the weight for traction---however, I never used to let Rick Ramsey(driver of my topfueler) have breakfast at any of the nationals

Hmmm, I need the weight for traction, but Jerry thinks I should not have any breakfast. Guess I am eating in Marengo after all.

Weather forecast for Sunday according to AOL;
Sunday (24 hours): Times of sun and clouds. Highs in the mid 60s and lows in the upper 40s.
Sounds perfect.

So who's dropping out? Will I have to wait till tomorrown to see who doesn't show up?
Who plans on meeting at the gas station in Hampshire on Rt. 47 and Rt. 72 at 7:00am Departing at 7:10am. Breakfast in Genoa around 7:30-8:15 then off to the track. The restaurant is just west of downtown Genoa on Rt. 72 (before the railroad tracks on the southside of the road). If you don't make it to the gas station meet us at the restaurant or the track.
Be there or be square...

Oh my god!!!!!! I forgot to get a helmet for tommorrows race. If anybody has a spare helmet I could use it would be appreciated. I promise not to sweat in it!!
If not I'll just duct tape my head real tight and draw 51 on it,,,,,, that should work.

I thought the virgins did good for never having been on a drag strip before

Not good enough to run down the big dogs but I am pretty happy with 12.1 @115 for being a virgin and all.
Am I done with talking trash??? I guess so, but consider this. The big dogs have run pretty much 11.7 +/- for a couple years now.

I agree with Mike. One good run, almost close to 11 second run, doesn't justify it. I can say that now that I have at least a handful of 11 second runs. Now if I could just get those et's into the 10's....... HMMMMMMMMMMMMM what would it take? I think I got the first 60' figured out, now I just need the hp fairy to sprinkle some of her secret dust under my hood and get me an extra 100-200 rwhp.
What is with that cowgirl stuff Jeffko? It must be one of those 12 second club things............

Did any of you guys run in the 11s your first time at the track? Sheez guys, give me a chance to get the first 60' figured out. I can't launch like you drag radial guys can.
I had an 12.297 on the first run and a 12.103 on the second run and that was rolling into a start and still spun the tires but not nearly as bad as the 3rd and 4th runs.
I wonder how things would have been if I had the drag radials and you guys ran the streets? You guys can do the math, but I would like to swap half a second with you.
Chris, I can't believe you would rip on Clint Eastwood. What's next John Wayne, apple pie, baseball, etc....
