Pre Campfire/Pre-London Inspection
On June 17th, From 9:00 AM Until I leave to attend the Damsch Campfire, the unofficial WCCC Northwest Suburban Service bay will be available for any of the London Show Attendees for a quick inspection prior to the trip. Would be an opportunity check/tighten bolts, tires, shocks, etc. Hopefully no major work is necessary, but a quick but thorough undercar check may avoid a problem on the road. We,re only 10-15 minutes from Chris' for those who are suburb handicapped. Any overflow from Saturday could be accomodated Sunday (or repairs of problems detected) We will need most of Sunday for Sid's car as it only knows the way to London by leaving here (and decide what parts we will be disassembling at the Hampton lot) Let me know by e-mail or posting here if you're interested.
Michael
1. Frank (1:00 PM)
2. Marty (bring your electrician's kit - Shelby needs his brake lights fixed)
3. Jeff Koller
4. Wolfie
5. Mark P ( He bumps anyone here if he can get the Kirkham to Saint Charles)
6. Chris Damsch (Blue cars get the "special")

Dr Mike
Actually, I believe Sid knows the way to London all by himself. See, he left a trail of parts last year so he could follow them this year.
Quite the little planner.
Seriously, this is a very nice offer you are making. If you need anything - I would be more than willing to help with the effort; just let me know.

Mike…you’re the man!!
What a great idea and I definitely like your preventive maintenance initiative to help ensure all WCCC member cars’ have a safe trouble free drive to the LCS. Your foresight and thoughtfulness in allowing WCCC members access of your garage, tools and time is outstanding. Hopefully all members attending the LCS will take advantage of your excellent offer.
Thanks for you 9:00AM first reserved spot offer. (How did that happen?) But I have a family commitment early that Saturday morning and will try to be at your place by 1:00PM.
Look forward to spinning some wrenches and learning about my car.
Thanks again,

Guys, as of now, it looks like I will not be making the trek to London. Hope you have a blast. Things could change, but it just does not seem to be in the cards. Lord knows I could use a break from reality, and London would be the ticket. Is there still a Dyno day at Mroz on the 17th?

What a guy Mike or should I say MD Mull. I would like to reserve time in the operating room to adjust rear ride height and install the new speedo gear Sid is holding for me. Give me an appointment time and I will patiently wait outside until the doctor can see me.

Don't Be Scared!! GET YOUR EXAM !!!
I can attest to the fine examination the doctor did on my rear end while up in the air last Sunday! Although while he and his assistant, Sid, looked very hard for leaks in the Redsnake, none were found. My nerves were extremely calmed during this difficult procedure, since the good doctor kept my mind well anesthetized.
I highly recommend this well run facility to anyone needing a good checkup!

Dr. Mike and nurse Kim, I sure would like to get on that rack once, I've been told that there might be a loose nut behind my wheel! My car has never been looked over/under by a medical professional team. It may turn into a major project. I would most certainly like to stop by and have the pros give it a once over.

The Good Doctor,
If my car ever gets out of transmission jail hell, I too would like to be looked at. It sure would be nice to look at the underside of the car from a standing position. I have spent way too much time over the past six months on my back under the car. We'll see if I can make it out on Saturday or Sunday as a back up.
Mark

Guys,
Excuse me, but think I’ve may have stumbled across a “Broke Back Mountain” secret society thread based on several participates’ rear end examination, cavity searches, and bore scopes connotations. Are you coming out of the collective closet?
Hey, I’m cool your sexual orientation, but don’t include me with the group and try to go where no man has gone before!!!!!

Here is a number that those who leave a trail of parts might want: 1st Choice Towing (100 mile radius): (614) 771-6343
The have a top notch shop within about two miles of the hotels and they are familiar with our cars. They are even AAA approved so your AAA card will work for the towing. Brian knows when every one is going to be here and will be on call 24/7 to help get you back on the road ASAP.

Of course, we could just do a parking lot rebuild like last year...

Hah! How did you know I was working that weekend??? Wish I could be there to help you guys anesthetize your rear ends or whatever, but duty calls. I do plan to bring a bunch of tools and a few spares along for the trip to London, tho.
Jeff,
Watch out for Sid: He was laughing his a$$ off when he told me he was going to give you the left-handed speedo gear. Or maybe he meant his "speedo gear"...?
Frank,
Don't know 'bout no Brokeback Mountain but it might be a good time to leave your buddies behind!

Mike, my rearend may not be limited slip, but it aint open either.
Frank, I used to think I had you figured out, but I'm not to sure here lately.
Lowell, I had never noticed that Sid was left handed, but that is starting to make things clear now. Oh and thanks for the image of Sid wearing a marble bag. I won't be able to use a urinal for at least a week now.
Wolfie, I think he meant boar not bore.

Well, since this thread has deteriorated somewhat... I hope you don't mind a little hijacking.
Mike - I was wondering if you could contact me about IL titling - I heard from Chris that you just finished a FFR. I'm about to try the DMV for my Midstates and would like any tips or tricks you may have.
Thanks! - now back to your rear ends, or sacks, speedo's, or.... nevermind.
