Blas,
Thanks for the invite but Laura and I have a softball game at 7:15pm. It is the 1st round of the playoffs and for the first time our team finished the regular season with a perfect 10 and 0 record. Now it is crunch time. Who knows .... maybe we will see you afterwards?

Blas,
Pizza and Beer: (The most important two food groups listed on my personal Department of Agriculture Food Pyramid.) Include the WCCC wild bunch and stir slowly until 3:00AM Saturday morning or your neighbors’ call the cops! Sounds like all the ingredients of a great party and we would love to attend. But it’s our wedding anniversary and we have previously scheduled a quiet dinner and “dessert” for two.
Thanks for the invitation,

This weekend is out for me also. Future daughter-in-law's mom and dad coming in from Minneapolis for the week end.
Thanks for the invite.

Hey Blas if beer and pizza aren't enough to get Frank there than something IS WRONG!
What did you guys do to Frank ? How come he's really not going?
Frank if it was all those leaky trans jokes ... we were just kidding or were we?
He's not going to this and Hes not going to the picnic either.
HHHHHHHHMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM..... I think Frank bought a vette.
Yeah that's probably it... he's going over to the dark side.
LOL

Yes, I agree, Frank may have gone to the Dark Side on us....
Just the other day I heard he was ordering a speedometer cable with a Chebby part number...and a few quarts of GM Sycromesh trans fluid...
Well, at least he didn't by a Buick....

My wife's going to be jealous, she working Friday, and she wants us to save pizza for her too.
It's just an informal get-together....Maybe we'll cruze the Culvers in Schaumburg later or Rolling Meadows.
Remember your lawn chair....
Check here before leaving the house...just to be on the safe side as I will be purchasing Lotto tickets for Fridays drawing....
Hey, It could happen.....

RedSnake…
Please try and follow the complex path and the underlying humor woven into the comments made here…
As we all tried to elicit a response from Frank regarding his possible foray into the “Dark Side”….and his apparent fascination for “up time” during “down time”…..you chimed in…”Frank driving a Buick?. He ain’t THAT old!”
Putting aside the obvious punctuation and capitalization errors in your reply…
Here is a quick recap for you…
While exchanging quips with “Snake Oil” , who as you may remember, has a ….”BUICK” engine in his car….
Thus, I was laying the foundation for a long and convoluted exchange of thoughts, dreams and ideas….
"Ahhh", you say to yourself…."that’s where the “Buick” comment came from….."
Well, now our comedic timing is off, and the entire thread has lost its focus…
(What you don’t know is that, “Snake Oil” is currently take a Home study course in speed typing….and I, in a quiet and subdued way, was attempting to assist him with his homework….Thus…the comment about a “BUICK”….)
As to the “Dessert” comment by “red”….think back to the Culver’s gathering last Friday…Frank leaving early….
"Ahhh", once again, you say to yourself…"I now see the depth of the humor here….These past and present Club Directors really do work on a higher level…."
Luckily, “Got-Snake” replied with a insightful and poignant reply to save this thread….
And I quote…..”This Friday? Heck yea!”…
So, moving right along…..
”No Sid, we’re going to drink beer in my drive way…LAST FRIDAY at 6:30…"
Let’s now all continue….

Red,
Dessert: A Badman favorite and exclusive family recipe. Medium length canneolli is stuffed with a secret sauce, affectionately prepared in a boiling pot, slowly stirred for eight to ten minutes and served piping hot. Second and third servings are readily available to satisfy late night sugar cravings.

Hey Frank make sure you keep your hands on the wheel of the "BUICK"
while she's nibbling..............things could get ugly real quick if you don't.
You know once the turbo spools up there's no telling what can happen.
You don't want to lean it out and BLOW A HEAD gasket. DO YOU?

SUNDAY? Was this little party going to last till SUNDAY?
I believe you're just making an excuse since Frank's comments about his medium length cannolli, thinking perhaps carnitas might be more your taste! (From what Arcy told me: Carnitas (from the Spanish for "little meats")
Be careful, Blas, even just thinking about carnitas may be cause for excommunication.
