Default Run & Gun question

Anyone going to come to my party in St. Louis? Heck, it's in your back yard

Well....yeah....if you are extending the invitation, I live about 15 min. away from Gateway, if I am not hunting or fishing on "party day"....I'm there.

Are you kidding? A guy with a quote like that, has an awesome car collection, lives anywhere near E. St Louis and during the 2006 Run & Gun invites you to his party! I'm all in.

Keep us posted on the details Jay.

By the way, you misspelled Tequila its Takillya!

If you have never been to a Run and Gun happy HOURS (especially since Lew Payne will be pulling his Cobra up from Phoenix just to make sure we get the margarita's right), then you don't know what you are missing. Not that it is some kind of a Drink fest but a social hour that you and your wife will enjoy . The Gateway folks provide security and no one insist that we leave the track at any given time. In short a lot of the fun happens after the sessions end and everyone gathers to tell their stories and enjoy an adult beverage if they like.

Jay will be holding court as usual immediately after everyone gets their cars put away. I hope we have some new and returning faces this year. Charles are you and Leslie going to make back to Run and Gun this year?

Clois

Run & Gun '06' website is up. Anyone interested in going Oct 12-14 in Madison Illinois which is basically East St Louis?

The track is located EAST of East St. Louis.
East St. Louis is an entity unto itself and quite honestly an area to be avoided. The Gateway track is actually a comfortable distance from the "East Side" as we call it. It is quite easy to access the track in and out of the city of St. Louis without ever seeing or having to deal with East St. Louis.

Mark are you coming to Run and Gun? You know the Wednesday session for test and tune is open to anyone with any car whether they plan on attending the normal run and gun or not.

I hope to see you there.

I meant East of St Louis even though I did say it was in Madison Illinois..

I have been to "East St Louis" several times and your right. But hey I like sleazy every now and then! It's amazing how friendly the girls are over there.

We refer to visiting the east side as "crossing the creek", and yes Jeffko, there are quite a few establishments that cater to the "gentlemen", with some extremely friendly young ladies, specificaly, in Sauget Ill. right along the river.
There are a couple of clubs that I have been known to frequent more than once believe it or not.
Clois, I haven't decided on a car yet but I do plan on being there, I look forward checking out what everyone else is driving in hopes of helping me decide which car to build, I wasn't able to go to London so I am looking forward to this event.
Do you happen to know if there some type of an event pass I can pruchase that will get me in when my schedule allows, throughout the event, rather than a daily purchase?
Looking forward to meeting you guys.
Mark

Mark I will check with Jay and Tim Geiger (of Gateway) and see if we can get some kind of pass.

Looking forward to meeting you as well. By the way there should be a very good sampling of Cobras this year.
