Otober Rally
I'd like to come on the Cobre Rally-My Cobra is a Excalibur 1997 Red no Stripes. Just let me know when and where we meet. I'm coming from Whitewater Wisconsin-and I'm no cheese head.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys, your club sounds like a lot of fun!
...and no mention of a hazing or initiation or anything... even for guys with blue cars....cool ! I certainly can offer to buy a round of beers if thats all it takes to join.
As you can now see, your fall cruise last year left me very envious of your addiction to flammable liquids. The only cure was for me to get a Cobra, fill it with race fuel, and drive it on a crisp fall afternoon to a place where I can "advance my timing" with a cocktail.
Does life get any better than that ? ...almost forgot to mention my wife would be riding shotgun...

HEY...A round of drinks will NOT get you into the club...
What kind of club do you think we are?
Maybe the other clubs you join will "PUT OUT" the welcome mat for you for a few beers....But not us.....
It will take some snack type things with that beer to get in this group....(little orange fish crackers, chex mix, etc)
ESPECIALLY if you have a BLUE car....hahahaha
(Actually - Joining the club will be cheaper than the round of beers)
Seriously though...This is a WCCC Members Event and if you or anyone else would like to join the club we would love to have you join us at this event and any remaining 2006 events. (FYI - Yearly club dues cover the costs for major events such as this)
Please PM me for membership application information or email the club directly at WindyCityCobraClub@Comcast.net and I'll get an application out to you....

What, NO cheesehead? You're probably not a Packers Fan either then!
Hey, Bigiron, I think we met at the BRIC @ RA last July at the WCCC cookout at turn 5, correct? I was the guy with the same color Cobra as your's except mine was in the Cobra hospital back in Illinois due to a "right lead foot in a wet curve condition."
I think it would be great for you to hook up with us at one of our stops so you can see what kind of fun group we really are, despite opposite rumors.
And it's a sneaky way to reel you in like we did Jay.

The more the merrier!
Alsnake,
Would be glad to have you along. Currently have about 20 members signed up for the event. Look for an email later in the week telling you when and where to meet!
