Am I the only one with cars in the 5s,6s,7s,8s,9s????
Chris--the 5 car didn't have wheelie bar
The 7 and 8 cars had them and used them hard
They all had parachutes, a couple of them wings
I'll have to see if I can find some time slips
Jerry
PS ---maybe we can get the gelcoat car out for the drag race

Boys, boys, boys, you are making me crave the smell of racing fuel, burnt rubber and exhaust! Let me know the date. I might be able to sneak away for a day of irresponsibility!

I think Dr Mull is putting together a game plan for several events, but if I had to guess I would say May 12-13 or so. Right doc...pant pant

Jerry, we're talking Cobras here! Get that Gelcoat car out for a spin!
If anyone is out cruising with nothing to do, stop by my house and get a free beer with an oil change. I'm in the process of putting the parts back on Redsnake this weekend so I can go visit Jerry by mid week, going to be into the 50's - 60's.
COBRA WEATHER!!!

OK May 12th it is. the following weekend is a IHRA pro race weekend & the next is Memorial day & then comes June & events almost every weekend. Oops the schedule isn't published yet. Anyway - 5/12 is the day. Pray it doesn't snow. & let's all hope we don't see Chris with pompoms instead of his previously fast car.

Uh Oh! I better talk to the wife today...........
May 12th is approaching quickly. I'm not wearing that overly tight cheerleading outfit again. Wait that was a different event, sorry.
Yeah, no more pom poms for Chris. I can smell the racing fuel already.

Oh Jeffko, Don't forget the infamous "LIPSTICK CAR". I think that car may have made it into the twelves once. Doesn't that car have some ridiculous amount of cubic inches. A 532 or something? Looks like bigger isn't always quicker.
Maybe Lipstick (EMK) will show up this year and show us all what that Monster Block is made of.
That should get a response out of him.

I didn't know Eric made it into the 12s and last I heard, from about 30' away, he had the BBB (big block blues) and Jerry was trying to solve a fuel bowl problem.
I wonder how a couple of these would look on his car?
Also, could you scan that engine building arcticle and email it to me or something? I have been looking all over for that article and can't find it.

Wow, hold the phone. I didn't see your post above the last one. Didn't you mean you better start begging the wife in lieu of talk. Do you have a Viking stove in your kitchen, yet and I'm sure I am not the only one that wants to see you in that cheerleading outfit.

I ran 12.1's at 116 on my old motor...I used to be fast enough to beat alla youse guys one time or t'other...
With a new Truetrac and axles, I've blown the budget for now. No drag radials for me this year!
Guess I'll just have to leave before da resta youse...
Help me, Jerry!

Hey, hey, hey - - whats all this with Lowell, Chris, Ralphie and Bob? What about finishing up with Warren? Are you letting them all drive my car?? My insurance only covers me. With the weather getting nice I'm going nuts.

Don't worry, Warren, Jerry is using the same body and paint man that repaired my car and when he's finished you'll never be able to tell what "happened!"
