Brian,
This is your first WCCC meeting? Congratulations and welcome to the club!!! Incidentally, new WCCC members customarily purchase the first round of beer. (It's part of the WCCC initiation process and a time honored club tradition.)
I look forward to meeting you Saturday and discussing your FFR coupe build.
PS: Be especially leery of WCCC blue and red car drivers. They re all goofy drivers with a heavy right foot but are basically good guys.

What's the weather looking like for Saturday? I'm "stuck" in CA all week - sunny and in the 70's. My wife and I should be there but will need to leave early to get to my daughter's soccer game. If weather cooperates we'll take that Caobra now that jerry did his magic on the carb.

I will have the registration forms for the Volo car show emailed to everyone tonight. Please take a moment to fill them out and bring them to the meeting tomorrow. There will be a special drawing for everyone bringing in their completed Volo Car Show application to the meeting. There is no charge this year for displaying your car at this event. FYI - Carroll Shelby and his charity is no longer associated with this event at Volo. Suggestions for another round of Club Clothing and accessories mass buy will be collected.

How late will you (the WCCC gang) be around?
Michelle and I were planning on attending but need to go to a funeral. We will try to connect afterwards if the timing works out.

NOW JUST WAIT A DAMN MINUTE BLAS! This is the first I've heard of TAR 'N FEATHERS, STUN GUNS or THE CEREMONIAL PADDLING of the ASSES PARADE! Great; now I've got to go out tonight and find a padded heat resistant rubber rain coat and an ass double.

Did I mention that new members also have to fill all the fuel tanks of the seasoned members with 110 octane racing fuel? It was on your application for membership, written in Milk, so you needed to heat the paper over an open flame for it to appear.....Bet you don't know about the Saturday car washes and the lawn service either.....

Hi everyone,
I was very impressed by the number of WCCC members that attended today’s 2007 Kick Off Meeting. (I thought we would have the usual fifteen or twenty people but we had close to fifty attendees!) It was great to meet old friends, swap winter project stories, etc., and welcome four new club members. The club directors have planned several new activities for this year and I personally believe this year will be the best driving season ever!
Now...if we can only get the weatherman to crank up the temperature another ten or fifteen degrees and convince the sun to stick around awhile!!!

Hey Guys-sorry I missed the kick-off meeting (and everything else since practically the summer picnic) - I talked to Blas back in Feb., and haven't done much since, other than work and help my mom out(my Dad passed away just before Christmas)
I've got a little bit of news-I finally got my "donor" Mustang last friday- and hopefully will be ordering my FFR kit this summer!!
Let me know when the next meeting or snake and eggs is- I will try to make it-I need to pay my dues -Bob (Roktbob@peoplepc.com)

Robert,
Please post if you would like help disassembling your Mustang donor or when assembling your FFR cobra kit. The WCCC has twelve members’ with prior FFR cobras/coupes build experience and I’m confident their knowledge would be beneficial and help expedite your build process.

As a new member, I just wanted to say thanks for the warm welcome Saturday! I am looking forward to slightly warmer weather and some club events. Took the car out of storage Saturday evening and brought her home, it was chilly but I wasn't even aware of the temperature as this was the first time I had driven her!
