Default St Charles North High School Car Show

The 2nd annual SCNHS car show is May 19th. This show promises to be bigger than last year (inside joke only for last years attendees), The teacher has commitments from three other car clubs but as usual we will be the stars of the show. A S&E prior @ the Manor Restaurant, Randall road South of Macdonald road, Behind the MacDonalds restaurant @ 9:00AM with a procession to the show (prox 3 miles.) post if you plan on attending.

Make sure you let Ralph Wilson know about the show early as his daughter goes to that school and he didn't even knew about it last year

And the breakfast at the Manor was very good

Yes and used claybar. Needs another quick wash/detail to get it cleaner.

The dirt must have been weighing the meatball down so much it just rolled off the paint to the much cleaner mud puddle on the ground, HUH!!!

All this talk about Sid's clean car... Please forward me a photo with the front page of today tribune newspaper to verify current photo. Or maybe Sid invented the "WAY-BACK" machine and can get a photo of his car as delivered and make it look clean & current???? Seeing is believing....

Hey, Class of '85 so pretty close. Had the bug many years prior to that time, started accumulating original parts in the early 90s and have now had the car completed for about 8 months.

Update on the show - The show hours are 1-4 PM. So a get-together on the order of the highly successful "Snakes & Lunch" is in order. In the interest of full disclosure I have to wearn everyone that there is an entry fee of $10.00. It is a fundraiser for the automotive programs at the school. Koller is still money ahead from last year though. This year as mentioned, it will be much better attended and there are numerous awards to be had, all made in the woodshop classes. Keep an eye on this space for a restaurant site - early lunch say 11:00 or 11:30 depending on distance from school.

By the way Blas, his car was clean & compared to previous condition, shiny. When delivered if I remember correctly he had deleted the wash & wax option & it had some South African dirt still on it.
