Question Secure knock offs

I have Team III wheels with fake knock offs; they are a two piece assembly; the inner hub fits inside the wheel and has the male threads; the knock off spinner has female threads and a set screw through the threads that locks to the hub's male threads.

I need to remove the knock offs before I go to the track each time; I need a removable solution and locking a set screw on the male thread is not good for frequent removal. The safety wire method is undesirable.

Suggestions so far:

nylon insert under the set screw
drill hole in male thread and use set screw with dog end to fit the hole

Thread locking for set screw:

blue loctite
pink loctite

Why not just take the spinner off and leave the hubs on. That is what most of the other folks that track their car do. What ever your decide on is going to be much faster than using a second set of rims and tires for track events.

I need to take the wheels off anyway to change brake pads; the track pads are too noisy for the street and have high wear when cold. Racing tires/rims are in a future budget.

Also, the hub on the Team III wheel is too loose when the spinner is removed.

Take the fake parts off--they don't belong on a race car--pass them on to the t bucket guys
