London Cobra show
Yes I went.
Besides the Hocking Hills drive, and seeing a few old freinds
who I don't get to spend as much time as I would like.
I found the rest rather tedious.
Been there done that,
have seven tee shirts to prove it.

weather
It rained a little Thursday night / early Friday morning. Did not stop us from having fun. We waited a short time and took off. Some drove in a light rain. Sunday our group decided to leave a day early because of the rain. We drove about 75 miles in the rain from Cincinnati to Louisville, Ky. Waited 4 - 5 hours in Shepherdsville, KY till the rain south of us cleared. Got home about midnight. Not bad, lots of great memories. We will be there next year. This EVENT gets better every year.
Thanks to all that make that possible.
Dwight
the rain did not stop this lady

LCS 2007 was AWESOME....
Big Thanks to all the OCC guys who worked their keesters off to make it that way!...
Snake Oil, you found a lot of the gathering "tedious"? I suppose sex is just old hat to you now too (since you've done that before, right)? LOL...
Pat

Apologies to whomever I mislead on the Friday afternoon cruise... the girlfriend and I had just gotten there, checked in and were heading to the mall across the street for some chow, when the caravan started out.
I cut in line (should have waited) and a couple cars followed me to Arby's
Again; my apologies - hope you managed to connect back with the caravan.

What's with the personal attack? LOL?
Last time I checked Pat, I had the right to my own opinion.
You know what they say about opinions right Pat?
I have been to every Fling exept for #2 (death in the family) so I have been there from the begining.
A couple of years ago I was more personally involved and sometimes donated heavily.
One year (three) I myself sold over $5,00.00 worth of tickets for the raffle car.
Don't get me wrong I know it is a lot of hard work to put this on every year.
And congrats to OCC for pulling it off.
All I am saying, is just like in business, if you aren't changing, your dying.
Strawberry fest was a bust this year, a lot of vendors booths were closed up.
Overall (to me) the whole event did not have the same energy as previous years, again just a personal observation.
There were other people that weren't to thrilled either, ( or that's what they told me anyway)
Perhaps, they just don't want to take the time to say so.
I don't want to start a war here.
Again just stating my point of view. Of course you can disagree if you like you have that right.
God bless all.

Good stuff and please if you can think of some thing specific, please add it to the LCS feedback thread. I welcome the thoughts.
- changing - we added three 'new' events but the other major events where the 'same' (tons of smaller changes). Would like to have some ideas on new ones and on what days (and of course what they will replace).
- Strawberry fest - can't help much with that one, not our fest. I will mention it to them though
- energy - I agree and recall thinking the exact same thing over the weekend. For me it had to do with the best value (the one with the center courtyard) not being so much 'party central' and the whole black cloud hanging over us from all the very recent car show accidents and what, again for me, was a very apparent impact.

NO Flames intended there Snake Oil....
I just put driving the Cobra, "up there" with good SEX is all.... Even when it's "bad", it's "GOOD"! The major difference between the two, with Cobra the Bigger (the block), the better.... With sex, the reverse is usually true... LOL..

John and I followed you into Arby's. We lost the other 2 cars in the first 4 miles. We cruised by ourselves and got lost 7 times. Had a great time, beautiful country side and we did find the Quaker Steak & Lube. We had a good laught about the whole trip.

lost
Dan it's not your fault that we followed you. We were lost when we pulled out of the motel parking lot.
Dwight
I noticed your running a 347. What cam, heads, intake, etc. are you running. HP & TQ?
