".....I must warn you in advance, there are several 'scams' that current members will try to pull on you..."
SCAMS?
Hey...You had no problem when 3 new members needed to paint your house last summer to join the WCCC....
And what about when you told a prospective red car member he needed to cut your grass till the next red car owner applied?
And now that I think about it, shovel your own snow next winter Rich, I quit...and I want my snow shovel and lawn mower back too....

The members with black cars stay out of these "petty" squabbles.

Blas,
Yes, yes those are all true. However, you need to remember I live in the city. Most all the homes, including mine, are brick.
Yes, they did use a nice Bright Blue paint. Still, and I hate to admit this, but it does not look so good. However, the racing strip is kind of nice.
Blas, again, I live in the city. I do not have any grass (of any type) heck I do not even own a lawn mower. You can call my wife and confirm it.
As far as shoveling the walks in the winter, again, you are probably not aware but I have heated sidewalks.
So, whatever you heard about me needing a lawn mower or a snow shovel or my house painted is probably just another story; quite possibly one told by the owner of a Red Car.

Hello all,
New member here. I will be there on Sat and look forward to meeting other enthusiasts. I am currently building a FFR Coupe and can't wait to see some of the other cars.
For those interested in touring be aware the BRIC is really crowded. The touring sessions are still fun but they are understandably strict with the 70mph speed limit.

Got it - there are two solenoids on this car. After breaking the second/remote one on the car, I found the inside very dirty. So a new solenoid & hooked up a better way then before, off and running.
I've been in elkhart since about 10AM today. What an awesome day to be driving around one of these cars!! Went through a tank of gas already.

Nice Testarossa parked below me, few Porsche's and our FFR at the Osthoff.
Here is the view from the top of the hill turn 5.....where is everybody?
Don't tell the Corvette guys:
Downtown Elkhart:
Two real Cobra's running in group 6:
Getting "artsie" with this one - Cobra's did not come by again:
In the pits:

Why is there a can that says optimist club? this raises serious questions!
Is there a pesimist club? were we at the right track or right turn?

What a day! Great weather, delicious food thanks to Fred, Rich and Ralph (sorry if I left anyone out), scintillating company, gorgeous cars, no wrecks except for the extremely minor two Corvettes bumping in turn 5, and a safe ride home.
Ken (Sandy) was begging to join the WCCC but I told him he was inelegible until he got his car (nah...just kiddin'), but his car did arrive Sunday, so it was a VERY exciting weekend for him.
Thanks, everyone, for a great time and I'm looking forward to seeing everyone a few more times this summer.
