Peggy find your dirty file Lowell?
I'm probably in for this event. Rich you gonna bring some of that spicy (this is going to sound bad.) sausage we had at the tailgate last winter for the Bears game? I'll probably go for just one day and come back home. Can I bring my brother?

Sid
Bring anyone you want.
Now let me tell you what Woflie is going to do with the phrase, 'bring some of that spicy sausage'. Well, no, I will let him tell you.
I will just ask another question Wolf can deal with: Did you want Italian or Polish sausage?

This is the same spot as last year. It offers a great view of the races.
We will set up canopies on Friday afternoon to guarantee an excellent view of the track.
Several of us will be staying over night on Friday and plan to view the cars in down town ElkHart. Jeff, if you want to stay on the grounds I suggest you contact Ralph. He will be camping over night again this year
I am staying at the La Quinta in Sheboygan; which is less than ½ hour from the track. If you want to make reservation I suggest you call the motel directly 920-457-2321 – the online reservation systems erroneously say they are full.

Turn 5? Inside or outside of the turn?
I'll be staying at the Osthoff Wednesday - Monday.
IMO The best place to watch the parade on Friday night is out front of Lake Street Cafe. That way you have a nice view of the cars turning onto lake street.
When the cars are leaving, make your way over to Q's Quarters (now called Harvey's) on 67. Once the cars turn onto 67 there are no more stop signs, so many of the cars really let them rip going out of this turn. Very entertaining!!
See you guys next weekend. I haven't missed this event since 1987. Wow, 20 years - doesn't seam that long.

I will be camping in the paddock at the only permanent carport there (same place as last time) with these two cars, the T70 and the Sony Lola Schklee.

Jeff,
Saturday's long-range weather forecast looks promising, sunny skies with 70-degree temperatures. I’m planning to drive my car Saturday, Joe is thinking of trailering his coupe and several members are planning to drive their daily drivers to make it a family outing. Undoubtedly, people will wait until Friday night, to check on the Saturday’s weather, before deciding what vehicle they’ll drive to Road American.
We’re planning to meet at the Mickey D’s on Grand Avenue, route 132, in Gurnee at 8:00AM Saturday morning and leaving for Road American at 8:30AM. Please read the WCCC Club Cobra tread titled “WCCC July 21st Caravan to the BRIC” for additional information.
Thanks,

Johan,
Wow!!! What great pictures of two stunning examples of automobile excellence. I can’t wait to see them in person Saturday.

Thanks. I have two pit crew passes available for the event and you got them if you need them. PM me for details of how to use them. All you have to do is work your ass off all weekend (just kidding ).

Laura and I will be going. Don't know yet if it will be Friday or Saturday. Depends on whether we have a softball playoff game Friday night. Should know in a few days once the playoff schedule is set.

I must have a few images of your cars from last year, any others from previous years you are associated with?

Great start to whe weekend, starter died last night. Now I'm going to be paranoid all weekend, parking at the top of hills for easy push starts.
Can I be down for three people? Will there be info there about joining the club?
See you guys Saturday!!

I am sure there will be sufficient people around to help give you a push start if needed.
I am also sure that info will be available as to joining our little group.
I must warn you in advance, there are several 'scams' that current members will try to pull on you. They will probably vary from trying to convince you that new members are required to buy the Beer or lunch or what-not. Some will claim the initiation include the requirement to wash all the current members cars. Just be careful.
Oh, by the way – I don’t know if anyone told you but the drivers of Blue cars get the first year’s membership fee waived. While the drives of Red cars pay double.
Bring as many people with you as you want everyone is welcome.
Rich
