Alright folks.
Tomorrow morning starts the little adventure. Don't forget.
Looks like the weather may hold out. If not, you don't have plans anyways. Bring the daily driver if you're not going to tough it out.

DAILY DRIVERS! Hey, Wolfie, how do you say "Pu$$y" in German again? I should remember, that's what you call me every time you see me!
DAILY DRIVERS! What next? RUBBERS every time it sprinkles?
All the guys who drove through Indianapolis coming back from London last month received their SCUBA license!
Bunch of wusses!

We are leaving from the McDonalds at routes 45 & 120 at 8am. There is also a Good Guys car show tomorrow in Madison about 15 minutes from the QSL that I just found out about. Looking at the radar map in the morning

What an ugly radar weather map. This looks like Indy II - just might tape the doors up before hand, or go to plan B.

It looks like there is nothing behind it and will pass by in a couple hours. I'm thinking later start.

OK, I give! Plan "B" seems like a real good idea! What was plan "B" again?

My plan B - go as far toward Madison as possible until a snorkle is required and then high tail it back before I fill up with water, again.

Raining in Sterling, 60% chance of rain and/or thunderstorms, radar weather looks bad for a freakin' week.
See you guys another time.

Peg and I made it out Elgin and the rain came, OK until it started leaking thru the doors & down on the leg. We packed it in, and scooted back home. Of course haven't seen anymore rain... but the radar map looks UGLY!

I drove my Van out to Culver's at 8:45am to find a few members standing around, but nobody showed up in Cobras. Looks like the weather will not improve for at least a week.

Safely home with no rain all the way back except about 5 miles from home. We really had a great ride until the rain started. I wil save the map and we will have to try it agian later. Good to see such a crowd show up at QSL even with most people (south & west siders ) driving their daily drivers. It is not always the cars that keep us together.

Jeff,
I’m glad to hear that you and all the North Side cobra drivers have made it home safely from today’s QSL event. It was a good WCCC outing, except for the intermittent rain showers and unusually cool August weather, and can’t wait to drive those county back roads again with our cars. So how about a poker run ending at the QSL?
