Hello all,
I also am not trying to hijack this thread, but I just saw here that a few names are from people up my way (moved to Harvard recently.) I've loved Cobras since I was a kid reading "Shelby's Wildlife", and I plan on building a FFR in the next few years as divorces are finalized and money frees up. Currently, I'm replacing the engine I blew up in my supercharged Focus. Once that is done, I'd love to lend a hand to anyone who needs help. I was trained as an aircraft A&P mechanic, though I don't work in that field (I'm a firefighter.) I'm slow, but like to do things the right way.
Still a virgin to riding in a Cobra,

Would it be OK if I dropped by? I was suppose to be up in MN right now and picking up my phase 1 kit, but got the word yesterday that the frame is not back from the powder coaters. Hopefully next weekend. Needless to say I'm bummed  Maybe seeing a nice garage and some sweet cars will hold me over for a week.

Thanks Badman, I got the e-mail but as I'm a Northbrook firefighter, and had just driven an hour and a half home to Harvard, I just couldn't break away to drive right back to the Heights.
I hope the offer stands for another day. When is the next time you all might be getting together?

I'm trying to gin up interest among Club members to meet at Road America next weekend if the weather cooperates. The usual WCCC meeting place at RA is on the left side of the short straight between turns 5 and 6.
