How is everyone doing?
Not much going on here! What are you plans for storage?
I know I need to get a full tank and some fuel saver in. Maybe wash it but that will probably be a stretch for me.

Depressed how do you think?
Better get what you can this weekend might be a while for you get to enjoy the smell of burned rubber and high octane fuel.........

Are you showing your car or just spectating???? We are planning on the 100 car pile up (rat rods) at Grundy Cty Fairgrounds/speedway Sat afternoon and most likely the Morris show on Sunday
Last year we had a display, this year just going to look--
This and the Sycamore show are probably the two biggest driver shows in hundreds of miles--they lined me up for the special guest for next year and then came and got me to present the trophies to all the winners--I think like 850 trophies--arms were tired
The Morris show is especially nice as it is laid out in a field vs lined up on the street curbs in Sycamore--I find it simpler( old age ) to go up and down rows of cars, I tend to get lost on the side streets

Going to Show. Ken Smith of Chicagoland Replicar Association invited me to park with them. And I'm looking forward to meeting members of that club.
Should be a good time. Look me up. Darryl

Well I ended up at the "pile up" today. My powder coater said he was going to be there and if I showed up he'd take my next batch of stuff to get coated off my hands.
WOW! what a show and turn out. First time I've been to a rat rod show. Definitely a Cobra would be kinda out of place, but what a lot of cool stuff to look at along with some really good people watching. This one is going on the calendar for next time

Robin has hundreds of pictures including dozens of just wierd hair styles---well unusual anyway--Lots of flathead, early olds/cad/buick stuff--hemis,y-block,fe,mel engines, trucks, etc
Our first time at the rat rod show but we'll return
Might even go to the show tomorrow at Equa-star on rt6 east of Morris 3 or 4 miles--will be over 1200 cars if weather is decent

Storage? STORAGE???? WHE DON' NEED NO STEENKING STORAGE!!!! Not this early in the year, anyway!
Just got back from St Louis. I thought Run 'n Gun would have some road racing today but it was all drag racing. Oh well... Ran in to a couple of guys I knew and visited for awhile and then drove home.
Rat rod show in Morris? Sorry I missed it. Sounds like it would have been interesting.
