Default How about a trip to Lake Geneva on Saturday

So far the weather report looks good for Saturday and it's time we took our annual trip for lunch to Lake Geneva. Who's interested??

Default road trip

I know a route thru the kettle moraine forest to eagle-breakfast or lunch then on to occonomoc-lots of twisty roads and great colors-about 45min from geneva. The ride around lake geneva is also great.

Get it planned. Time, meeting location, etc and I sure you will have serveral wanting to go. Saturday: Mostly sunny, with a high near 55. Put us down for going.

Fred will work on a route, start at 10AM go for lunch and be back by 2 or 3pm. Meet in Long Grove at Kildeer Countryside School. It is on Old McHenry Road. just north of the four way stop in town.

Marty, I'd suggest emailing the entire WCCC membership just in case they don't visit here on Club Cobra too often...Probably need some additional info on the starting location for any new WCCC members who might attend.

Dang People, this sounds like fun. Unfortunatly I'm two (yes 2) years from completing my ride. I'm assuming you would let a guy from WI join you ??? I'm working on stepping up my build but ...... you know.. Hope to join you in the future.

I want to go, but since I live in Rockford to met in Long Grove is a long drive and then another. Could I met the group at the intersection of 173 and 12 (city of Richmond, I think). Assuming the group is going up route 12???? This would be more direct for me. I could be there about 10:30, if your estimated time to met is 10 AM at Long Grove? If this works I will PM my cell phone number to you, Red, or whoever is setting this up. Weather looks great with only a 10% chance of rain in Lake Geneva and Rockford per weather.com. I do not have a soft top!! Karlene, my wife of 37 years, will be in Oshkosh, so I will be by myself.

Good morning,
I'd like to come along, but I need some directions on where and when. Don't want to drive 150 miles one way to get lost.

Hey Snake Oil, Da Bears? I dont think so. Green and Gold daddyoo. Although I dont mind the Bears, its the Vikings that really get me.

Thanks for the warm welcome (I think)?? The anticipation is killing me. Not sure whats more fun, building or driving. I'm always looking for someone to talk to about building. New to the Cobra world. I wanted one since I was a little Packer Fan. I'm in the Pewaukee,WI area. Any of you cats want to get together I'm game.
