I wasn't thinking that Fred's car needed the help, you and I bounced off the lot hard - how's the leg?

Nice pictures John...looks like a great time for all that made it.
Maybe we can squeeze another one in. As I recall out last outing last year was the week before Thanksgiving.

Bouncing of the asphalt....
Who is the one that changed the plan and yelled out let it go Fred?
The original plan was to go around the parking lot
and down hill towards the street.
Then oops, bam, pop, smack. Dang what hapened?
The local witch doctor wanted to amputate,
luckily Sue talked me out of it and put a band aid on it instead.
I'm pretty sure Sid has a picture of us hitting the ground.
Does anybody have pictures of that cop frisking Fred after he pulled the crowd over?
I think he was was pulled over for going too slow in a 15 mile per hour zone.

OK, I give up. What happened???
Bits and pieces don't do the story justice.
Spell it out Arcy!

Ok, Ok, I'll spill da beans......
Well the first group of Snakes tore outa the lot pretty quickly.
The other folks were kinda hangin around thinkin... this road or that?
When Fred discovered the car's battery was dead.
Give it a jump, and it doesn't work.
Ok, let's push start it!
The original plan of pushing him around the parking lot and then down the long slope. Those plans got....well, got let's say... slightly changed.
(No one sent Tim and I a memo as to the new scheduled time for Fred to
take his foot off the clutch).
So we both wound up rolling around on the asphalt, cause nether of us let go quick enough.
Check with Sid I know he has pictures of the whole thing.
NOW.... after that, we wound up driving through town, Fred's car stalled out again. Then, we got pulled over by officer freindly, had to go to Napa buy a new battery.
We then went to the other restauraunt where they turned out to be devout gearheads and welcomed us with open arms! Bought us a round, made us official members, gave us all special Windy City Member cards that give us special parking privledges, 10% off on food or drink, and exclusivity of using one of their 2 condos over at the Abbey. Good day I'D say!
We voted them honarary Windy City Club members!
(Did not get us a second round though so we decided to leave)
So, we left with good wishes, did a few quick burnouts in their parking lot
with owner / management approval and vowed to come another day!
Sue and I didn't get home til after 5p.m.!
By then it was getting a little chilly.
That's way I remember it anyway.

I do have pics! One with them pushing and one with them on the ground like a set of bowling pins. I'll try to post it tonight.
