Only so many vacations days in a year so I'm sitting this one out for something closer to home like Galena, Door County or Devil's Lake.

WE do hope you all join us again in a big way, with registration going the way it has been we might well top 400 cars this year.
....and hopefully THe WCCC will be a challenger to the BBQ event on Thursday, there will be a few new events, as we are trying to shake it up a little each year.
The Mid Ohio event will have some new twists this year too!
Look forward to seeing you all again.
Thanks as always for your support.

As I mentioned on another thread, I have all intentions of making it this year if logistics permit. I plan on saving some vacation time for this by using unpaid time for some of my other days off. There are some other hurdles to get past, but we will try to get past those. Unfortunately, although I am registered already, we probably will not know for sure if we are going until the week or so before and it could change up to the last minute. As Maggie likes to point out, Columbus IS 3 hours closer to Cincinnati anyways! I will also add, that I do tend to hang out with the WCCC gang for the most part, so if there is not going to be a large showing of WCCC pals, I might reconsider as well. But, that said, it sounds like Chris and Daryl will be there. Jeff and Blas you will be missed. I know Sid would not miss it! Marty, Arcy, Mike M?

From some of the discussions at the WCCC 2008 events meeting last November, I think the WCCC members attending in 2008 will be quite limited by comparasion to previous years. But we will "talk-it-up" as the event draws closer, especially for our newer members. But the WCCC has relinquished control of the Hamption in 2008. Feel free to contact me or our WCCC Events Director directly if there is anything the WCCC can do. We do have 2 WCCC members assigned to your event in 2008 on the club calendar.

Not yet,
I believe they are trying to work out some final details still. Maybe Kumpie (OCC) will chime in here with what he knows.

Going
Karlene and I signed up last night. This is our first trip to the LCS and am looking forward to it, once the snow melts.
When will the details for events on Friday and Sunday be known?
