Hey Slow Motion, thanks for the pictures. That was not only a red car whopping up on a blue car, but also a small block schooling a big block!
Chris, quit picking Blas. Everyone knows he does not have a 3rd gear.

Alright, Lets bring this topic back to life, since it's getting closer.
So far:
The date is April 19th. Rain Date of the 26th
Location: Some breakfast place on the south side (somebody pick one)
Time: ?
Gess Motorsports after Breakfast
Who's running this event? Jeff, Slo?, Tom B,? Gess?
Only a couple of weeks away, lets fill in the details.
Is there going to be a burnout pit this year? Just stirring the pot.

Chris,
I am planning to go. Can't wait for the weather to finally turn decent. Somebody on the south side just needs to pick a place for breakfast. We've been to the Crackle Barrel a few years ago. That works for me. Easy to find right off the expressway.

Hey, RC, did your Cobra also develop that "High-Speed- Miss" which plagued Blas's Cobra last year?

No the alternator bracket is broken.
I cannot go to Napa and say give me one of these, now can I?
or well I guess I could but they won't have one ready made.
So Now I'm in process of making up something new better stonger improved.
And chasing down a new 140 amp alternator.

Uh oh, here we go! First it is the alternator bracket with that hairline crack in it. It can only be seen by those that are shown it by the vehicle owner, and even then it looks like it is drawn on with pencil. Then there is the bigger alternator. Oh well, I had the front accessories off anyways, maybe a set of those billet pulleys. You know, they look nice, so Blas will like them, and I hear they are lighter so have less rotational mass and will add a few more HP and add to the balance of the car after a winter of eating burritos and tamales (speaking of which, I hate you Arcie after the picnic when you brought the tamales, cause I cannot find a decent tasting tamale ever again!, I might invite myself over for dinner one night!). Uh, oh is that a little wobble in the cam shaft that I feel. Better order one of those up with a better profile. Hmm, what can I do with the turbos?
Arcie, as long as you are at it, you better look at those rear tires, cause I think you are going to be having a problem with them once you fix the alternator bracket. They will probably have a hard time keeping a tread on them!

If you know of any place that sells "a set of those billet pulleys"
for a GN 3.8 let me know. I'll order them tomorrow.
Any ways I'd rather spend the money on faster than pretty if you know what I mean.
Tamales, ahhh yes, the life blood of any good mexican diet.
Although since my kids are Mexi-greek-cans they like them sprinkled with feta cheese.
