OK, I can't offer free banners to the club & the only connection to the club is my daughter's participation in the auto cllub @ SCN. I won't plead with anyone about how she really needs our support & how we as a club really need to support the show.
The two shows are about 5 miles apart, maybe a cruise or two between the two shows would be possible. Cobras entering & leaving the show are the highlights for the people in attendence anyway.

Ok so I got no free stuff to offer but everyone who gets their A** kicked by a red car @ Byron has to show up for an hour or two at least.

So, if I understand you correctly Mike, I won't have to go (after Byron), but I am still welcome to participate and support Alex's school program?

Will there be an announcement at the show of which color cars where the fastest at the track with there times?

HMMMM, Public humiliation for all cars other than blue could be something fun to run for!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How about if we determine to which car show we will go based on the color of our car?

Mike, that means you need to go to the 'other' show but your wife is free to join the good guys.

I suggest you put some maps together, determine a meeting place and time, breakfast place, coffee shop, someone's house, what ever...and post it to the club via our email network...

You guys are so thoughtless....
Maps for the regulars may not be required, but there are a lot of new people in the club who don't know the best way to get to Byron...Some people may the map as a reminder to attend the event, and some people feel more comfortable knowing how to get to Byron easily from their homes.....and yet others (First name - 3 letters - starts with "S" - vowel in the middle - "D" at end) may use these maps to plot the locations of garage sales and small town Spring festivals to check out on route to the race track...

I thought someone mentioned we could meet some where then go to one show. Then move out as a group to the other event and then out to lunch, not breakfast. This would allow a later start, but more time at each based upon comments from last year. (I wasn't there, of course) Coming from Rockford I like that idea.

Someone should take "ownership" of this event since both shows are on the same day, IMO. My hand is not up, so not me. I am tenative at this time, since work is getting hot now.

It's now official - map links on the thread on CC, e-mailed maps to everyone else. This is too much work, I'll only sponsor events to national landmarks in the future.
