Coast to Coast Cobra adventurer + WCCC
Check out this thread:
He's (FOMOCONUT) going coast to coast in his new Cobra and wants to have dinner with some of us. He should be on I-80 and driving thur our area on the 10th of JUne. Anyone have a good spot to meet him and have some dinner? Who's interested in coming along for the ride? He's pulling a small camper behind his Cobra - THAT ALONE is worth the ride to see...

I'll try to get out there too. Sounds like a heck of a trip.

I would like to try and make it also. How about an Uno's in the area?

Just spoke with Jerry.
Not sure if this is going to work.
Week-night and all, and weather looking bad around here...

So, Blas, it's 5:30 and I haven't heard where we are going to meet this guy. What's the story? I'm game!

Just had a conversation with Jerry who was in Ottawa, IL., so we certainly won't be meeting him for pizza. It was a combination of things, weather the last few days, time and day of the week for a distant road trip, and some miscommunication as why this event did not happen.
Jerry and his sweetie have over 4700 miles behind them with roughly 2500 more to go.
Good luck and continued success on your cross-country adventure!
Ralph
