Is there any pre-registration required? If breakfast is skipped, can we hang out at the BP station for you guys? I assume you will be heading up 12 from the restaurant.

I heard there was a free registration and membership or something for showing your cars. Warren is this correct and if so where do we get the registration or is it just a call to them?

No registration, just show up and pay your $6 per person. I don't know how to attach the flyer on the show, I'll sent it to you via email.

Volo Pre-Registration Info
If anyone is definitely coming to this Volo show please give me a quick call for advance pre-registration to the event. Attendance is not mandatory. The phone number is (847) 305-1968. Volo just wants to get an idea of how many people are coming out to properly have work staff on hand.
The advance weather forecast is calling for partly cloudy skies with a high of 82 degrees so it should be a great day for a Ford event! Thanks, Steve

So far we have 8 Cobras planning to attend. Hopefully more will decide to come in the next few days. It would be nice to see 20 or more cobra at this Volo Car Show. The weather forecast looks great for Sunday.

Any Ford Car Com'on Out
Hey Everyone, The public loves the Cobras and as many of you that can come out would be appreciated!
It looks like we will have a huge spectator/enthusiast turnout for those people who can't afford the Cobras but love to see and hear your cars!
The 50's/60's diner at Volo will be featuring brats and hot dogs 'to go' so they can keep the lines moving.
There is a Joliet History Museum group that is coming out to raffle off a brand new Shelby GT500 convertible for $35 a ticket so this will be something fun to take advantage of.
Weather now is calling for sunny with a high of 79 degrees so it should be a great day! The first 150 cars to enter the show will recieve a dash plaque and a gift. Everyone gets entry to the museum with their entry to the show.
A late add, Volo is offering a buy one, get one free spectator discount to the show by going to their website, www.volocars.com and then click on News/Events and then click on Shelby-Cobra-Mustang Show. If you have two or more people coming as spectators only, this is a fantastic deal!
Any further questions call Steve at (847) 305-1968. We'd love to see you at this show!

Hey guys. Won't be able to make it. I agree with Stang Steve. Great way to get the word out about cobras in the Chicagoland area. Just don't let them to talk to Wolfie! And if they are interested we could drum up some more members. Warren please remove this as a sticky. We need to "talk it up" to keep it at the top. If you don't know how to do that contact our Moderator. Later kids!
Sid

Sid,
Whats a Sticky and who is our moderator? And what is S.B. of the West Side Cobra Club? I'm in the Windy City Cobra Club. There must be some confusion here.

Many thanks to Warren with the Windy City Cobra Club for their outstanding showing at the Shelby/Cobra/Vintage Mustang Show on Sunday August 24th at Volo Auto Museum.
I lost track of count after at least 16 Cobras came to the event! Warren was out there promoting this show and he is credit to your club. The Cobras far out-numbered any other car type and that is a dedication to Warren's enthusiasm!
Look for this same show the 2nd or 3rd weekend of July in 2009 and subesequent dates will follow for your planning purposes.
Thanks again to Warren & the Windy City Cobra Club for their great showing and we hope to see you all out again in 2009. Big Steve from Chicago
