Meadowdale Reschedule Date - Sat. 9/27
UPDATE FROM THE MEADOWDALE WEBSITE -
..."The committee decided to set the "rain date" as Saturday, September 27 (one day only). It is hoped that the registrants for this weekend will be able to attend on the new date."

If we weren't already busy we'd love to join you guys.
If you're looking for more fun that weekend...
...like sports cars flying around an active race track...
including a Vintage Mustang Show along side the on-track action.
After Meadowdale motor down to Autobahn Country Club in Joliet Saturday or Sunday 9/27 & 28.
We'll be driving with Northwoods Shelby Club. There'll be lots of Mustangs, some real Shelbys, several Cobras and plenty of other fun stuff.
Plus it's not too late to join in the action if you'd like to drive your car, Cobra or otherwise...

Ok, Just a reminder about next Saturday’s event at Meadowdale Raceway. The headcount of WCCC members is fantastic…Out of 91 members.. 89 are planning to attend…only 2 members are not coming…one of them is probably you if you have not contacted me or posted on the Club Cobra/WCCC website as of yet…So if your one of the two WCCC members who have not responded, please post that your attending so maybe we can say we had a 100% turnout of club members and their cars…Plan to arrive between 8:30 & 9:00 am. Remember your lawn chairs, refreshments, food whatever else you’ll need…suntan lotion, bug spray…etc…Just the rumble of 89 cars and the backup on the local roads will be fantastic… (If you believe these #'s....I have a bridge you my be interested in for sale too...)

My plan is to leave around 8:15 - 8:30 from:
Starbucks Coffee
181 Barrington Rd
Schaumburg, IL 60194
Roughly Schaumburg & Barrington Road
It's across the street from the Home Depot, and at the North end of the Lowes / Kohls parling lot..
That should put us at the track around 9ish...
Remember your lawn chairs and what ever else you may need.
I plan to walk the track again this year to look for any old racecars on the sides of the track. 
Remember: This rescheduled event is a 1 day event only now (27 Saturday 2008)
