Pictures of WCCC Fall Drag Day 08

Two of the nicest people you'll ever meet!

Chris heating up da rubber!

Getting ready to take flight. This was a GREAT race!

Chris hooking up!

Chris TWISTING da rubber!

Now that's a good race! That's how you chew up the quarter in a street car.

Awesome color Sten!

Al about to smoke a Nova.

Gotta love those RED COBRA'S!

Heating them up for the first 10 second pass of the day.

Here's the proof! What an awesome run.

Al ready to take flight.

When Al get's some racing rubber, he'll be looking to regain his title.

Wolfie when he still had half shafts! :0)

Told me he was going to take it easy! NOT!

Go Wolfie Go!

Not to bad for taking it easy!

Lee looing over Sten's motor, while Sten admires his hat. LOL!

There were a ton of cars racing, and the WCCC kicked butt!

Getting ready for another great race!

Nice 60' times fellas.

Who's it going to be?

Another RED COBRA kicking BUTT!!!

Sten and Eric getting ready to tear up 1320.

Then some jerk broke a half shaft (AGAIN) causing a delay. :0)

Eric giving Steno the "I'm going to kick your ass" glare. Steno returning the favor (not a good idea).

Waiting on the tree

Look at Eric's 60' time! WOW 1.49 -- guess he didn't appreciate the glare Steno.

10.60 @ 123.46 MPH! Now that's getting down da track!

Buddies going at each other.

Sten ready to light 'em up

Steno proof that you can get a stock 302 in the 12's! You know you can drive when guy's with twice the power only beat you by 1 tick.

Eric is all smiles as he takes home the trophy for his 10.6 ET! He Chris -- how about the photoshop crop you mentioned. LOL

I think this was my best picture of the day -- can you see the yellow jacket that's driving Warren nuts? Great day at the races!

Dee,
Thanks alot for the photos! The banter really added to the photos alone. After reviewing the vast number of applicants, you've been selected as the official WCCC photographer.
Thanks again,
Sten

Chris, no it's still at the bodyshop; but in the meantime I've picked up a new hobby. I've been hanging out at the local Barnes & Noble as well as Borders! I'm trying to locate a copy of "How To Strangle Your Painter and Go Undetected". If I don't locate a copy soon, look for me on the 10 o'clock news wearing cuffs.

"D" always a pleasure to rub a bit of salt into an open wound! Took it out today, and will probably take it to work tomorrow.

Kick a man while he's down why don't cha! Steno may your day be filled with a torrential downpour, sleet, snow and hail; and Chris may the alternator god's deem your Pep Boys charging system unworthy until I'm out of the booth. Sten you forgot to call me back

We do two drag days a year. keep an eye out and you should see a post about it. That usually gets the trash talking going! So anybody going to step up to my 12.5 1/4 mile time? Any takers? PUNKS!!!
