Mark's events are well run and provide an excellent way to get seat time, the key to improving your skills.

Jim:

Thank you for the kind words about MVP Track Time. I hope you and the rest of the Cobra (Can I say that without a lawsuit? ) gang will come drive at the track with us in 2009. CYA at the track.

Bill, we just can't make it work with the rental expense for HP. The KC and St. Louis Audi clubs run a joint event at HP annually now. Assuming they'll let you in (convertibles??) they run a good event.

Good Morning All:

Not exactly Chicago, but our (www.MVPTrackTime.com) Putnam Park (near Indy) track weekend (”Tax Freedom Track Weekend”) April 18-19, 2009 recently passed the ½ full mark.

I hope you’ll join us for some on-track fun at Putnam Park near Indy, or our other 2009 track events (Autobahn, Blackhawk Farms, etc.) when the world thaws in Spring.

Hi All:

Couple of photos from our (www.MVPTrackTime.com) April 18th & 19th track weekend at Putnam Park. Sorry no Cobra photos (and we had at least 6 attending) as the photographer, in his infinite wisdom, included none on the disc he sent me. Hope to see you at Autobahn June 1st and August 3rd. Fun, Fun!

Passing the broomstick test depends on driver height. A stick is put on the roll bar at its highest point and on the windshield. Most groups want 2" above the helmet to the stick. Some tracks enforce this, some groups enforce it, and some look the other way if the bar is near the height of the helmet. Check with the group before you sign up.

JJ, we are fine with a single hoop as long as it passes the broomstick test as Jim noted in the post above.

I received a call earlier this week from a potential attendee asking "How many run groups and how many sessions each day?". We run three (Novice, Intermediate and Advanced) run groups with six, 20-minute run sessions scheduled for each run group per day.

Hope to see you at the track!

Feff

We (www.MVPTrackTime.com) have a limited number of spots remaining in all three run groups for our September 5-6 track weekend at Blackhawk Farms.

Feel free to contact me at (314) 249-3770 if you have any questions. Happy Motoring and I hope to see you at the track!
