That sounds great count Sue and me in.

Jalapenos, Toasco, worcestershire, onions, olives, cheese, etc. all can make for a spicy burger, but don't over due it! We still need to eat it.
You can enter only one recipe per couple and you should also be responsible for how its cooked. An altunative to burgers could be Sausage, Italian, Polish, German, etc. We can vote it with the burgers or againts with two winners, we'll plat it by ear.
I know it's a month away but start planning and let me know how many as soon as you can, so I can get prepared for the big bash.

Sure any size any type. There's only two weeks to go before the contest so hope your all working on that winning recipe. In case you need a little help you can go on line to allrecipes.com to get some new ideas.
Still haven't heard from a lot of you, I know your out there, plaese respond ya or na, so we can get a rough count for set up. If the cooking contest is scaring you you don't worry be happy, just show up and enjoy the day with a bunch of friends and bring your family too.
Remember the pool will be open, so hope for hot summer weather, and please remember to bring a towel.
There may be a bags ternament between Blue and Red, so if you don't have a blue or red vehicle think about what team to be on, or maybe it should be against the westside, southside, northside, or cityslickers.

forgot to mention in my first post a Time, lets say around 2PM to get things started, with cooking to begin around 4PM.
Side dishes to serve with the meal, appetizer, or dessert are always welcome. We'll have a large pot filled with sweet corn, and a few watermelons to share. Plates, plastic ware, paper towels, napkins, and glasses will be provided.
Remember to bring your chairs and coolers. We will have extra bags of ice on hand for whom ever needs it.
Any other suggestions are welcome!

Fred, what kind of cooking arrangements will there be? Grills, bonfires, Luau fire pits, reflector ovens, C-4 explosives, steamboilers?
I'm just askin'...

Sorry I have not responded before this; jet lag, you know.
Judy & I will be there. I think I may also go the 'sausage route'.
Should I plan on bringing my 'tail gating' grill?

Wimps!!!
Who needs a grill to cook lunch?
Try this; 12 wings seasoned, Pam on heavy aluminum foil.
Take and wrap 6 wings in each foil.Mak esure ther nice and snug.
Place them on the manifold of your car, take a leisurely 45 minute ride.
When you get to your destination pull out the cooler, spread the blanket,
Remove the wings, Enjoy the cooked wings.
Be green
Should I bring some automotively cooked burgers?
