Devil's Head Weekend
The date for this event: July 25th & 26th, optional afternnoon & night July 24th for the hardcore & those who want to sleep in Saturday AM.
The rates have been confirmed for the resort.
The cost per person/per night is $74.20. For the math challenged that is $148.40
per couple. The rate is for one of the standard lodge rooms in building A,B,or
C. If you want to upgrade, please talk to reservations(group sales). This price
includes dinner and breakfast. The dinners are from their regular menu, some
items have an upcharge but last year they were very reasonable.
You need to call the resort on your own to reserve your room. If you could also
post your intentions here it will help us to plan the
associated events for the weekend.
The website is http://www.devilsheadresort.com

Don't worry, Wolfie! Let me know when you are leaving and I will be following you closely with my tow vehicle and the trailer!
Ralphie, Wolfie's Personal Chase Vehicle Team.
Oh, Hell, if your car isn't ready, we'll trailer it up there. You can sit in your Cobra with helmut and goggles on, but Mary has to be by my side as navigator.

How long are these rates good for? I'll have to wait a bit to make sure I can go.

OK as of today I count the following:
Me & Kim
Lee & Karlene
Wolf & Mary
Tim & Peg
Fred & Sue
Arsenio & Sue
Marty & Pat
Sid
Bob
WE CAN ADD MORE! - Anyone interested contact the resort, make reservations & let me know
Are all coming up Friday the 24th?
How soon on Friday could everyone depart? - the earlier the better.
Dinner is between 6:00 and 10:00 PM I will make reservations when I know the Friday night count. Menu is here, shows the upcharge for certain items over included in package. Last year the food was great, I think without exception.
http://www.devilsheadresort.com/dhr/...oom_5.2609.pdf
Proposed schedule for Sat/Sun
I'd like to plan two groups for ride on Saturday - an early group & one for the late risers and the Sat am arrivals; meeting at one location for lunch; & return for dip in the pool, or nap, and cocktails prior to Sat dinner.
After dinner, either more cocktails, outside party by the firepit (WP) perhaps a trip to local Casino - Dells is not far, Baraboo is real close (don't know about any Wis. nightlife.
Sunday - Slow start, brunch, & backroad ride to Beloit area, driver's choice from there to return home.
Thoughts??
Michael
