Default WCCC Summer Picnic - 8 August 2009

In case some of you forgot and for our new members – Way back in the Spring of 2009 at our 1st or 2nd club meeting of the year, the date for this event was determined and added to the club even calendar…This is just a reminder for everyone, especially the new people:

WCCC Summer Picnic
Date: Aug 8, 2009
Time: 1:00 PM
Location: Neely's House
Please RSVP by August 1st.
Please contact a club director and post here if you did not receive a club email regarding this event…and to get directions.
Once again, please RSVP by August 1st - doing so insures you were not left out of the contact list for this event.

Arthur & Renee Mitchell will attend. I've just joined (check is in the mail) the WCCC and look forward to meeting fellow Cobra enthusiasts. My Cobra is still a work in progress (Click on link to see my build) http://www.photoshow.com/watch/Aj2Jh9eZ and hopefully meeting owners and seeing other cars will accelerate the completion.

Looking forward to the event. Please post location address.

Arthur

PS. Please let me know if the link does not work properly, Thanks!

Default WCCC Summer Picnic

I did not receive an E-mail for the picnic. Please add my E-mail to the distribution list.

Barb and I will attend the picnic. We do not need directions. Will this suffice as our RSVP?

I'll probably attend, but I didn't see the email. Perhaps send another round of the emails.

Perhaps not everyone got an evite, but according to the picnic planners, over 60 members have not opened their evite invitation (can't believe there are that many bad e-mail addresses). So, again

the picnic is at Neely's on Saturday, August 8th at 1:00 P.M. Please call Barb or Buddy to rsvp or respond here.

Default Rain or Shine

Buddy & Barb Neely have an air conditioned shop that can be used if it rains on Saturday.

For those of you that are members and have not gotten any emails/evite please PM me your email address and I'll add you to the invite. Unless someone already has. I haven't been on the cc.com board in a while...as you can tell.

Chuck I got yours in but see that they have you listed under the no response. Folks do a search of your email box for "Evite". I did and the invite came right up. The invite was sent July 10th.

Sid

I would like to thank Barb & Buddy Neely for hosting the picnic. Thank goodness they had an air conditioned building! All the advanced preparation really paid off - Barb, Buddy, Linda and Reed Chester really worked hard to make it the sucess it was. It was great that three new members were able to attend the picnic.

I would personally like to thank Jack Bowser for helping me grillside. He swings a mean spatula!
