How about we skip the traditional Snake & Eggs Breakfast. Instead we do a Snake & luncheon and catch the first football game of the year? I suggest we meet at Shoeless Joe’s in Rosemont; this Sunday the 13th

I have never been there so I can not really speak from experience. I picked it mostly for its location. It is at Mannheim & Higgins which should make it easy to get to no matter where y’all are coming from.

The place opens at 11:00am & kick-off is at noon so how about we say meet there between those hours.

Based on the responses I cause lots of confusion with this post; for that I am very sorry.

I realize that the Bears are the national TV game on Sunday evening. Kick-off is at 7:20pm.

The idea of this invite was to move the tradition Snake & Eggs from Breakfast to Lunch and have a hamburger & whatever. We decided to get together at a sports bar around lunch time & watch the games that are starting at noon local time. (Actually there are 9 different games starting at that time, so there will plenty from which to choose).

Okay so that is the plan to meet at Shoeless Joe’s on Mannheim & Higgins somewhere around 11:30 or so to have lunch and whatever.

Please let me know if y’all plan on coming so we can get an accurate headcount.

I couldn't think of a better match up to start the 2010 NFL season. Two elite teams fought a hard hitting defensive battle and their offenses demonstrated an excellent example of the two minute drill. IMO, it doesn’t get any better than that.
