New paint work and plug wires/looms. Done by me 10/08.
I decided to paint the Valve Covers and Air Cleaner to match the car. I then installed new polished wire looms and new yellow 8mm plug wires. Looks sharp I think.

Kirkham Alternator Bracket on a B and B
Reasonably priced bracket that allows the alternator to be mounted between the frame and out of the way of the upper hose. I think I paid $50 from Kirkham Motorsports.

Driver side inner door
This is the proposed pattern I am thinking about. The blue part will painted to match the car...the black will be carpeted to match the floor.

I THINK I see where the crack is !!
A small tug on the block when we were taking it off the stand...and there wasn't much holding it together anymore.

RMC Series 3
Left hand photos showing door opened with red buckets fitted although temporary.
These buckets were previously fitted to a older Cobra and bought on ebay for $100 a pair.
They are SAAS modified seats with a 41cm base/cushion
The seats look good but I think a little narrow!

FIA_Suitcase_Study1
It’s documented that (2) AC factory cars were prepared with FIA suitcase "dimples" (See Photos). The second modification was to enlarge the trunk base to allow the suitcase to fit upright (vertical) and further down into the trunk as shown. If you look closely at the photo you can see the suitcase also fit horizontal and was held in place with a “bungee cord”. You can also see the bolts protruding out the bottom of the suitcase which originally held the suitcase upright. I think this also explains why some of the FIA cars had dimples while others didn’t.
As for the actual size of the suitcase – FIA Historic Racing Championships - Appendix J. Both 1964 and 1965.
State:
“270 - Luggage trunk
A covered space being an integral part of the coachwork but outside of the space occupied by the front seats, large enough to receive a trunk of
65 cm X 40 cm X 20 cm. minimum, besides the spare wheel, tools or the folded hood, shall be provided, excluding the spare wheel, tools or removed canopy.”

Cobra A arm?
Some news! When I bought the car it came with two sets of front A arms. I've attached a photo of both. We think the larger set is from the Cobra that "donated" the rear end, brakes, and suspension. Can anyone verify that the large arm is from a Cobra?
