Shell Valley build
The hood was bowed and warped so badly that we had to cut slots in the inner panel, fill with foam, and then add weight to level out the passenger's side. After the foam hardened, we put a layer of glass over the cuts and added weight again.

Edelbrock/Ford SVO 429/460 Pump Flow Chart
Here is a chart I put together that compares the two different popluar pulley sizes available in the aftermarket for the 429/460 in fancy shmancy polished powder coated clear aluminum pulleys. The big pulley is not the way to go, you cant get enough flow to cool these high horsepower motors on the street.

T at T-stat housing
I had to put a T in because I have no temp sender threaded site in the intake manifold. Probably going to be better to just go ahead and drill one.

Auto Tranny vaccum origin
I put the auto tranny vacuum hose on this 1/8" vacuum outlet because it matches the modulator intake at the tranny - both are 1/8" size. Larger vacuum at the back of the carb I used for the brakes alone.

Pic showing the drilling template with 2 holes drilled. In the background is a template I made by putting cling film on the bonnet, and getting the curve into body filler. This mould template was then used to ensure the AC would fit the curve of the bonnet.

Street Beasts Driver Sidepipe
Here is the Street Beasts sidepipe on the driver side. Another lesson learned: if you use a 351W for mock up and are installing a 302, THERE IS A DIFFERENCE! The 302 is 2" narrower (at the head) and about 1" lower (at the head) than the 351. We had to "adjust" the motor mounts when I put the dummy 302 in.

Trunk hinge support
When I got this kit the trunk lid and hood were not attached to their frames. So before joining the two together I figured I would give the hinges something solid to bolt to...and also add some strength. The holes are 5/8 and I am making some press fit threaded collars to put in the holes for 3/8 bolts.
