Canton oil thermostat

ERA 289 FIA with Canton oil thermostat. This is the drivers side hose run to the cooler.

Off-set the Canton thermostat cooler line outlets by taking it apart and rotating the segments. The segments can "clocked" in 90 degree increments, so the oil cooler hoses can exit on opposing sides. Made plumbing a lot easier in this installation. Fewer angles in the swivel fittings helps avoid any restriction on oil pressure.

Trunk weather strip

Finished installation. Not very pretty, but using the larger dia. bulb wopuld not compress easily enough to permit the trunk to latch and allow the deck to be flush with the adjacent body. The original dia. weatherstrip did not compress along the top and sides at all.
