428, close-ratio toploader, Smith's Guages, true pin-drive knock-offs, 3:54 Jag posi rear & suspension, 560 lift Comp. Cam's cam, roller rockers, springs, medium riser, Barry Grant 750 Gold Claw, turkey pan and correct aircleaner, full aluminum engine compartment & trunk, Connelly leather & Wilton wool interior, correct Guardsman Blue and Wimbledon White lacquer paint.

Chassis Dyno - Initial Run 427 High Riser
Self built 427 SO, stock stroke, 429 ci., Dove aluminum High Rsier heads, mildly ported, 10.5 : 1 CR, original holley 780 cfm LeMans carb, vacuum secondary, on an original single four BBL Hi-Riser intake. Chassis Dyno is at Performance Engineering, Hamilton, OH.
Initial run with engine as built by me, with jetting as supplied with carburetor.

Self built 427 SO, stock stroke, 429 ci., Dove aluminum High Riser heads, mildly ported, 10.5 : 1 CR, original holley 780 cfm LeMans carb, vacuum secondary, on an original single four BBL , dual plane, Hi-Riser intake. Chassis Dyno is at Performance Engineering, Hamilton, OH.
Carb jets changed, and timing adjusted by Performance Engineering. Picked up 80 ft-lbs torque and 60 hp by chassis dyno tuning.
With a 20% loss, estimated max flywheel torque is about 600, with about 570 flywheel HP at 5900 rpm's and still climbing.
The torque curve is pretty flat.

This is a FE medium riser motor stroked to 454 with a hydraulic roller cam. Dyno results are 470 HP and 564 Ft of torque.

Machined off the riser that the stock pump bolts to across the top. Really cleaned it up I think.

Shifter platform
TH 350 Lokar linkage sits up high, fab'ed a glass riser and then glassed in after the photo was taken. Also glassed in area behind shifter.
