Installed a makeshift bypass system for my Weber Manifold set up. Seems to have cured the cooling system ailments. Also, fuel was getting too warm. I cut oblong holes in the uprights for the fuel log. Seem to have cured that problem also. So much for that yard work today....

Hemmings Motor News, April 1995
Yes, $585k was then (and still is!) a fortune, but #2002 is one of the most valuable Cobras, and would probably go for over $4MIL today.

Original Cobra From My Home Town
A Cobra comes home: Now worth $1 million, rare car returns to Lincoln. The last time this car was in Lincoln, its owner had just finished grad school and had no idea it could make him a millionaire.
Steve Woehrle paid $5,300 for the second-hand Shelby Cobra from an O Street corner car dealer in 1973, and now he was shifting it into drive and running north out of town, first to a teaching gig in South Dakota and then to a long-term tenure in Minnesota.
Woehrle and his Cobra are returning to Lincoln next weekend, but the retired professor won’t be behind the wheel. Instead, the car he bought 45 years ago will arrive by truck and trailer, with a security detail and an estimated value of more than $1 million.
College student bought this 1965 AC Shelby Cobra in Lincoln for $5,300 in 1975. Today, it has estimated value of more than $1 million. The car is on display at Okoboji Classic Cars but will return to Lincoln July 13-15 during the Mustang Club of America’s national show outside Pinnacle Bank Arena.

Nash Bridges 'Cuda
This started life as a 1970 blue 340, 4 spd 'Cuda convertible. In 1996, it was the first of several barracuda's purchased by Nash Bridges Productions to be featured in the TV shows. Based on a real life yellow '71 Hemi 'Cuda convertible, all of the TV cars were updated with body parts as needed, painted yellow, to replicate that real '71 'Hemi 'Cuda. This car has been referred to as the Nash Bridges Cuda #1. It was used for practically all of the still shots, and most of the cruising, with the other 'Cuda's mainly used for chase and other stunt scenes. The 340 engine was blown during the production of the 1st season, and a crate 360 was installed. After the TV show ended, the cars were sold off, and a prior owner had the car restored, and a crate 426 Hemi installed, which is how the car is today. It's a great cruiser !!!
