Cockpit
Sparco seats -- not only very comfortable, but provide incredible lateral support. Coupled with the five-point Simpson retraint harnesses (cam lock quick release system), the seats provide a very secure feeling and prevent you and/or your passenger from being thrown out of the car when you turn or stop suddenly. Custom aluminum fabricated door panels covered in two-tone leater flame theme. Hip tubes are padded and wrapped in black leather. Black carpeting with thick, jute padding. Carbon fiber gauges - eight total.

1970? Howard 17 ft V-Drive
I think it has a HallCraft V-Drive unit if I can remember correctly. Haven't messed with it since about 1995. Maybe it'll be a winter project.
Engine is a 1962 409 Chevy, 380 HP model. 2 Blade prop.
Unlike my jet boat which kind of fish-tails its way around, this thing rides like it is on rails. Completely different feeling than the jet-boat.

Hnaging out on the anchor in the middle of nowhere can make you feel this way. Especially when the stars reach all the way down to the horizon. THIS is why sailing is my PASSION.

Cobra_Dash_with_new_Glove_Box_Small_
Originally, I had the glove box lid closing precisely into the glove box opening. It just didn't look right so the hinges were re-designed and a new larger lid manufactured to fit over the glove box opening instead of into it. My feelings are that this looks far neater. I am happy with the result. Thanks for the idea Phil.

New Rims
Installed Halibrands Replicas by Team III. 17x10.5 rr & 17x9 fr. Having these new wheels kinda makes me feel like I was driving naked all this time with the Cobra R's. Wow, what a difference it makes!

Finally done!!
I feel like I have turned a corner with getting the hood and trunk hinged and functional. I still cant see the light...but at least I can see the next corner.
