Shell Valley build

Welding on roll bar is finished thanks to Buddy Neely. The only thing left is to grind the welds smooth so that the roll bar can be powder coated.

Ball Joint Seal Ring

A fix for A Arms shipped without the ball joint seal groove machined in. Ring added to accept a Chrystler Ball Joint Seal. The 3/16" thick rings were cut on Kirkhams Motorsports water jet. Barry McGill can also do the fix. The bad thing was B&B sent me the wrong arms that I paid to get fixed.

Adaptor hub for Nardi-Grant combination

Having a lathe makes life a whole lot easier when you do stuff like this. And it's fun creating shiny round things.

SBC

I'm not a purist and it is a replica, no matter what I do, it will never be the real thing, just like 90% of the other cars on this site...enjoy what you have and drive the wheels off 'em.

Lil ol me in Lynn Park's garage

My Friend Luis from McCluskey took me to Lynn's for a private viewing. Stories from every car, favorites, etc. Lynn was a very gracious host and I owe Luis for the whole thing.
Very cool day!

Paxton SN93 cutaway

I always wanted to know how these things worked, so I cut up a junked one at my machine shop (at work). It still spins. If I cut deeper (including the races) to show the friction balls then I'll loose that ability, so it sits for now.

SVC cobra clutch bellcrank type arm

This arm is on my Shell Valley Cobra that comes out of the back of the firewall inboard of the brake master cylinder which is bolted to the firewall. So the left to right position of the pedals is actually reversed on the firewall due to some strange linkage inside the pedal box. Try8ng to find out if this is part of the reason why my clutch is essentially undrivable, and whether this is a standard Shell Valley thing or some kind of complex setup somebody did to avoid the headers.
