Rearend cross member failure

Whaler CC Member Registered: August 1999 Location: Canada's beautiful West Coast Posts: 723	Poor design and light metal. No abuse just simple driving. 1300 miles later and metal fatigue. I did start to hear a bit of creeking on downshifts but that all came to a halt last day on the raod last summer. Major redesign in the works now

if you scroll through to the build photos you will see the x-member when it was new in it's own earlier picture. These picks are at the kit builders shop before it came home to me.
