Description:
|
We are more than a little ambivalent about selling, but the car does not get raced anymore and it is just taking up space and money that we need for other projects.
The car was originally built by Gordon Levy in Phoenix as an FFR spec racer with a 347 stroker. We purchased the car ~5 years ago and have slowly modified the car to the point where it is now. Everything on the car has been upgraded and improved over the FFR design. The car was constructed with durability and ease of maintenance in mind. All of the consumables are Stock Car type parts that are robust and cheap to replace.
The car was raced quite successfully in NASA Super Unlimited class where I regular competed against and frequently beat cars such as Porsche GT3 cup, Viper Comp Coupe, PTG Speed World Challenge BMW M3, etc. Many race wins and pole positions.
The car is ready to race.
Note: This is a race car, not a show car. It has some pain chips, it has had various brackets welded on and cut off, etc.
The price of the parts alone in this car is more than $65,000 and that is not including any of the custom design and fab work. I don’t think a shop would build you this car for less than $100k.
Price: $55k obo, or will negotiate if you just want the roller
