LC470 P1: The original LC470 Lister Prototype is now available for sale. This car is the original Prototype produced by Lucra and tested in magazines around the world. Here's a sampling of what those top magazines have had to say after sitting behind the wheel of the LC470:
"The LC470 delivers a figure-eight time quicker than the Ferrari F430 or Lamborghini Murcielago LP640.”
-Motor Trend
“Chassis and steering responses are superb, making the car intuitively easy to place in any curve.”
-Car & Driver
“Owning one will help remind you of why you go to work in the first place.”
Sports Car International
The LC470 is the result of a 3 year collaboration between Lucra, Beck Development, Swift Engineering, and Guldstrand Motorsports. Built in 2007 and powered by a 471 horsepower GM LS6 V8, the car delivers a unique combination of modern driving comfort, exceptional handling, and blistering performance wrapped in stunning retro looks. This super-car prototype has been featured and track tested in numerous publications including Road & Track, MotorTrend, and several European magazines posting 0-60 runs of 3.3 seconds, 11.7 second 1/4 mile runs at 128 mph, and pulling 1.2 lateral g's on the skid pad. And remember…this is the actual car that posted those incredible numbers!
Engineered to be maintenance (and headache) free, this car is meant to be driven. In fact, a basically stock LC470 with a first time driver behind the wheel just finished 1st in class and 6th overall at the 2008 Carrera Panamerica Road Race in Mexico which is considered by many to be "the world’s most brutal road race"! These cars just don't look great and claim impressive performance...they back it up on the track as well. For more info on the LC's impressive win check out this link from the manufacturer: http://www.lc470.com/panam.htm
The Prototype features the following:
• Weight: 2036 lbs, (53% rear; 47% front), Length: 96.0-in. wheelbase, measures 168.0 in. overall
• Suspension: Forged aluminum, fully adjustable (caster camber and toe front and rear)
• Motor: GM LS-6 (dynoed @ 471hp)
• Transmission: Tremec TKO 600RR (Road racing) with McLeod hydraulic clutch
• Aluminum 3:07 limited slip differential
• Rack & pinion power assisted steering
• Stainless steel brake lines
• 4" tubular steel chassis and carbon fiber composite body
• 17.8 gallon aluminum fuel tank
• Ceramic coated exhaust and side pipes
• Cast (custom) aluminum rims (17x9.5 Front / 17x11 rear)
• BF Goodrich G Force Sport KD (255/40 ZR17 front / 315/40 ZR17, rated to 189mph)
• 4-point harnesses
• Smith gauges
• Tilton pedals with brake bias control (for front to rear adjustments)
• Removable quick-release steering wheel
• Leather and aluminum interior includes dash pad and leather backing to update the interiors look to that of the current LC470 production cars (or you can leave it stock as it was originally created in the prototype)
• Aircraft hardware used throughout the car.
For more info on the LC470 please see: www.lc470.com, http://www.roadandtrack.com/article....rticle_id=5566, and http://www.conceptcarz.com/vehicle/z13487/default.aspx (those are pics of the prototype for sale shown in the professional wallpapers provided; the only things that have been changed since those pics are header wrap on the side pipes, a different steering wheel (the moto-lita was too big in my opinion but it could be easily changed back if you prefer) and a fresh, top quality, professional paint job to get this car looking its best (less than 100 miles since fresh paint)). As the company’s original prototype this car received the best of the best mechanically from the company.
Why just own “a” car when you can own “the” car. This prototype has blown away the competition in tests and started a worldwide buzz. Unique, beautiful, ultra-rare and smoking fast…the LC470 car really does have it all. The car is in excellent shape and has just over 1,600 miles on it so it's basically brand new (and this particular car has never been competitively raced or wrecked).
New LC rollers without engine or transmission start at $59,900 and are worth every penny when you consider what these cars can do. The LC470 really does have it all and as a true super car prototype this car will always maintain additional value. I am open to all reasonable (and realistic) offers as the car has to move. Do not miss the unique opportunity to own this highly coveted 1-of-1 super car at a very reasonable price.
Car is located in Rochester, MN and available for show anytime (507-775-6532). Many more pics available upon request. Thanks
