How does this prop rod attach to the car? That big latch goes where? I'll buy it if you can tell me how it works. Where and how does the prop rod go into the hood?

SantaFe-The square portion mounts to the hood and the rod /bracket piece will mount to the inner fender well or where ever it will keep the hood opened to your application. No instructions were included since there are so many car differences, you can always call Finishline which is listed on this site.
