Description: Hi, I'm listing my Superformance Cobra replica. The car is in the period specific livery, blue with white stripes. Superformance are the acknowledged Shelby authorized leader in cobra replicas, assembled as rolling chassis in South Africa with unrivaled quality. This example also has a professionally built (by kuntz & co) 427 stroker w/ a new 351w block and only 7,000 miles on the odometer and was assembled in 1996. It has a tremec t-56 six speed transmission. It makes nearly 500hp and 550ft/lbs of torque at the flywheel and sounds incredibly mean. It has wilwood dynalite calipers, deist 5 point harnesses, polished quick jacks, ceramic coated side pipes w/ Performance Engineering 3" sidepipes as well as a brand new Centerforce dual friction clutch installed by PE (at a cost of $2000) at its last inspection 400 miles ago. The car has body coddington 17" custom alloy wheels with basically new Michelin Pilot Sport tires. The car comes with a tonneau and soft top though I've not used either and have no idea if they fit . The car is in excellent mechanical and visual condition and has recently been looked at by two Cobra experts as well as dyno tested. The car has a few stone chips on the rear quarters, as is common in cars such as this with big rear fenders as well as a few fiberglass chips on the inner door joints (completely hidden from view w/ doors closed). Please ask all questions prior to bidding. I also have a set of bilstein sport coilovers sitting in the garage that will go to the winning bidder if they desire. I have clear title in hand and am open to offers from serious buyers. I would prefer to sell this vehicle quickly, so don't hesitate to get in touch with any and all questions. The car is universally loved, gets waves and thumbs up everywhere it goes. It is certainly an experience any car enthusiast would enjoy. If you follow the values of these cars, you know that finding a blue & white example with a 427 stroker small block anywhere near this price is incredibly rare. This is a fantastic buy. I have every single receipt for service and upgrades since the car was new.

Where in Colo are you? A friend is very interested in car that lives in Loveland. Gauges do not look like Superformance? Do you also have original knockoff rims?

The gauges are autometer and I do not have halibrand style wheels though it should be easy enough to trade the coddingtons for knock offs.

If this car was assembled in 1996, then it is a very early build. There's no way the chassis number could be 1048 which would be circa 2001. The chassis number in my car is stamped on the front suspension cross-member; check there and post your car's number please.

Is this car still available. Are you open to offers. Do you have the original Hallibrand wheels and knockoffs? Are all gauges original? Am seriously interested. Thank you.

This car is still available. I do not have the wheels, the gauges are original but are not the smith style 'replicas'. I will consider all reasonable offers.

I have an early Superformance (#124) and the chassis # is stamped on the hinges for the hood and trunk lid. It's also written in chalk on the forward trunk bulkhead (under the carpet). Also, if the gauges aren't Smiths, they aren't original Superformance.

The original MSO from Superformance (with Ron Rosen's name & signature) indicates that this was vin 1048 from the Hi-Tech automotive factory ie chassis #48.
