Description:
|
This is a 304 stainless gas tank to fit 427 roadsters (street cars). It will replace the mild steel soldered together originals that were prone to leaking. It has been constructed of all new materials to the original specs and dimensions including the 6 hole sender recess and two baffles. The tank is laser cut and fusion welded together. It also has a rollover/vent valve. Capacity is 18 US gallons. Guaranteed leak tested. Sender unit, tank straps and J hooks are also available for additional cost. This tank will also fit the SC cars with the sloping trunk floor but will need some brackets or bracing to hold it off the underneath of the floor. Any questions please ask. Now sold but another is available if you need one.

I am making some other CCX parts at the moment like roll bars and caliper brackets. When I look at the next Contemporary I will get measurements from the tank and see.

I have got dimensions for the street tank in my gallery. The other tanks I'm making in stainless also are 6" deep at the front, 9" deep at the back, 23" long and 36" wide. If you need something special let me know and we'll see what we can come up with.
