Specifics on this Car:
This car was built to be a very precise replica of the factory race car. There was extreme attention to detail when building this car. It is a careful and thoughtful recreation of a 289 FIA roadster, probably the most desirable variant of all the Cobra factory team roadsters. Only two of the original five FIA roadsters remain. The builder had access to the only unrestored and completely authentic 289 FIA roadster still in existence, serial number CSX 2345. This recreation is based on that car. Hi-Tech Cobras are believed to be have been the most accurate recreation FIA Cobras built, even when compared to the Kirkham Cobra and Shelby’s own continuation, and can be used to restore an original, as many parts are interchangeable.
