Shelby AC Cobra . FACTORY FIVE RACIING BODY 427 MODEL. THIS CAR WAS BUILT BY HAND ON A JIG IT HAS A 2x3 TUBING CHASSIS, SWEET SPINDLES-HOWE HUBS, WILWOOD 12" BRAKES, HOWE RADIATOR, CARRERA COIL OVERS, FRONT AND REAR SWAY BARS, BLOW SHIELD, 9" FORD FLOATER REAR- DETROIT LOCKER, PLUS 350 GEARS, T-5 TRANS, QUARTER MASTER CLUTCH, FUEL CELL, ELECTRIC FUEL PUMP, A.N. FITTINGS, 300 MILES ON THE 4 BOLT MAIN 331 CUBIC INCH STROKER, ALUMINUM HEADS, ROLLER CAM, HOLLEY CARB, MSD IGNITION, OIL COOLER, ELECTRIC FAN, 15x8 WHEELS, 5 ON 5 FIRE SYSTEM, SCCA LOG BOOK, TRANSPONDER, EXTRA WHEELS AND SPRINGS. The car has never been registered. SHOULD BE PRETTY EASY...They did use a Mustang steering rack.

The motor work is just around 2 years old with only 300 miles on the motor w/ one VERY Very little drop of oil every 2 weeks. Over 8300 was spent just on the motor alone. Built by REID'S automotive in MA...VERY GOOD Shop up north. This car is LOUD...I used to own a Hennessey Viper and I can tell you this car is close..maybe not as deep but wow the sound is awesome.... I was going to put lights, badges, etc on the car but I will let the next owner customize it. I would say the only thing the car needs is a good paint job. I am pretty picky...the cars body has some wear but very workable. I hate to even call this a kit car with the amount of work that went into it. The whole frame and braces are painted (See pictures)

This car FIRES right up. I start it every 2 weeks. I have only driven it 1 time down the street but since I am buying a house the toys have to go. If you have any questions please call me at 863-430-4284. You can email me at Indpowr2@netzero.com or if your in Central Florida your welcome to come look at it.

Are you sure this is a Factory Five cobra? If so, let's talk.

Is it just the body from FFR, or is this an actual Factory Five kit?

I honestly do not know. I know the body is FFR. The frame was built by hand on a jig. I do have a card the car came with for Super Performance. All high end parts were used on the car from brakes, motor, fuel system, etc.. Posting for me will be here and there. Phone is always best. I can tell you I have a HUGE file of paperwork on the car. The only thing I would do with the car is get it a high end paint job but I guess for those that race its not a big deal.
