FOR SALE: Panoz GTRA chassis #25 - $18,750 with Penske shocks
Car changes / updates:
Engine / Drivetrain / Electronics
~ Stock 302 engine (heads / bottom end)
~ Conversion to Carb with BG 650 Demon carb, Weiand Stealth intake
~ Panoz GTS Linkage throttle setup with pedal - very smooth and positive throttle operation. Adjustable.
~ Auto Meter gauges - 5" Tach, Oil Press, Water Temp, Oil Temp, Volts
~ MSD Ignition and Billet distributor
~ Aeromotive Fuel Press regulator for running carb with stock Bosch EFI pump (works flawlessly)
~ Standard Temec 3550 trans
Chassis
~ Tube frame chassis with front and rear clips that are replaceable
~ Chassis reinforcements at key areas for running slicks
~ Chrome moly rear trailing arms from Chassis Engineering for higher HP. Stronger than the upgraded arms that come on the GTS. Ready for high HP.
Safety
~ Fire Suppression system with nozzles in the cockpit
~ Fuel Safe Fuel Cell
Suspension
~ Penske adjustable shocks - same as GTS.
~ 650# front springs / 350# rear
~ Grand Am Continental Challenge series tires with life left (275/40-17)
~ Watts link
~ Fresh PFC 97 pads on the front, plenty of life left on the rear
~ Front rotors have 2 or 3 events left in them. Rear rotors have plenty of life.
Body
~ ABS Body panels; fiberglass lower rocker sections.
~ Fresh rear Lexan window that you can actually see through
Brakes (For those who don't know)
~ 4 Piston Brembos at all 4 corners with full floating rotors. The brakes on this car are truly World Class
~ PFC 97 Endurance pads - the best kept secret in racing brake pads - last forever and easy on the rotors
~ You can attach a remote adjuster for brake bias but I felt no need to. The brakes are awesome.
Interior
~ Cool Suit system (cooler mounted in rear)
~ Auto Meter gauges mentioned above
I have thoroughly enjoyed this car for the last couple of years - handling, braking, and the safety / security it provides. However, I am taking on building another Cobra replica this fall. It's going to be the first Factory Five with an FIA 289 body / Lemans top. I am only doing ~4 track events per year and now that I am running with buddies in Chump Car it will probably mean even less time in the Panoz. I am being told it's a mistake to sell the car and they are probably right.
I am located in the Central Florida area and can help transport the car if you are in the Southeast.

Hey Chuck! The car has been a blast but I am going to run out of space soon with my other project. I think you know what I mean. Hope all is well.
