to anyone with doubts, this is a real, genuine, original car, not a replica, not a 90's production, this is a 1965 Texas inc. production.
do your homework, ask questions, let me know your thoughts.
i would like to sell it due to a new addition to my collection and lack of room for an 8th car.. overseas buyers are welcome.
i can help with shipping and any paperwork you may require.

"to anyone with doubts, this is a real, genuine, original car, not a replica, not a 90's production"
Who are you kidding?
It was built in 1997 and sold through HRE in New York.

In light of this, I'll raise madmaxx and go $55k.

xlr8or is correct. The SAAC World Registry states that the car is a fiberglass body completed 9/24/1997. The dealer was HRE Motorsports of Freeport, NY. It has a 428 engine and a Toploader 4-speed. Purchased by Ray Forkel. It was driven in open track at SAAC 26. Offered for sale on eBay 1/02/2003.
There's a beautiful black CSX for sale here on Club Cobra for a long time asking $90K and it has not sold. Also, generally, a 427 sideoiler engine would make the car worth more than one with a 428.

One more thing. The '03 eBay auction noted 2,000 miles on the odometer. So, it would appear that the car has traveled 700 miles in almost 8 years.
Kinda sounds like me.

The SAAC World Registry is an exact record of all CSX series vehicles with Ned S from San Diego and gang keeping very accurate records.
A CSX4000 series in the USA is worth......$100,000 to $150,000 tops. I see xlr8or identified a similiar vehicle on site here. There are many more in Hemmings etc.
Just look at the 'For Sale' section here to gather the real price.
The Finishline vehicles were certainly no where near the asking price here of upwards of $500,000
Even 30% of the asking price is far too high.
If the vehicle has been purchased for the stated price my thoughts would be that the vendor may have misrepresented the vehicle. Another story in itself.
In the interim CSX4048 the vendor in this case is entitled to ask his price. If we don't agree, we just do not buy it.
No doubt CSX4048 will make the necessary enquiry.
The other obvious concern is if the vehicle is titled and constructed less than 30 years ago it is not compliant and should not carry N.S.W registration as a LHD vehicle.
This is relevant only to vehicles manufactured and titled by the DMV prior to 1980.
Again a few questions for CSX4048 to ask of the person he purchased from.
