1966 ERA 427SC Cobra Replica, car # 534. This amazing car has 10,200 original owner miles and is painted in the Shelby correct Guardsman Blue and accented with Wimbledon White lemans stripes.
Built in May of 1999 at the ERA facility in New Britain, CT
Engine details:
1966 Ford 427 SIDE-OILER professionally built by Daniel Dalena; 4.250 bore, 9.75:1 compression ratio; 428 stroker crank; LeMans rods; Wiseco pistons; Medium rise heads with stainless valves; double springs with 10 degree locks; 16331 Crower cam kit; Harland Sharp roller rocker arms; MSD ignition with rev limiter; dual quad medium rise intake with Holley model 4160/600 cfm 4bbl carbs, progressive primary linkage and vacuum secondaries; Stellings air cleaners with K&N filter elements; Centerforce pressure plate; March pulleys; oil cooler system; remote oil filter; primary pipes HPC coated silver; side pipes white VHT high-heat painted; interior heat shields; radiator oversized 4” core with triple cooling fans (2 pushing, 1 pulling), thermostatically controlled with manual override.
Transmission & Rear drive:
Lakewood Racing bell-housing; Richmond 5-Speed with custom long shifter and original handle and knob; fully independent Jaguar XJ-6 rear suspension components with double adjustable Spax shocks and springs; 3:23 rear gears with POSI center section; driveshaft safety loop; front sway bar; rear sway bar; REAL Trigo aluminum “pin drive” wheels with stainless wingnuts, front are 15” x 7-1/2”, rears are 15” x 9-1/2”; tires are Dunlops – Fronts are 235/50-15’s and rears are 295/50-15’s.

Fully powder coated chassis; rack and pinion steering; 12-inch Sierra front disc brakes with 4-piston calipers; dual Tilton master cylinders; steel brake lines with steel flex lines to both front and rear calipers; dual brake lights switches with warning light; adjustable front and rear brake bias; AC pedals; 15” steering wheel with Cobra center cap; S/C dash layout with glove box; original dash knobs and Smiths gauges; standard rotation (left hand) speedo; heater and defroster; fresh air foot box; riveted hood scoop; front door straps as original; 4-point seat belts for both driver and passenger (lap and shoulder); Optima battery – trunk mounted; cabin mounted fire extinguisher; trunk mounted fuel pump disable switch; hidden ignition disable switch; 17 gallon, fully baffled aluminum gas tank; chrome driver’s side roll bar; square tail lights; bumperettes; chip guard; tonneau cover; Monza style fuel filler; convertible top with bows; windshield wipers; the list goes on and on…
