Description:
|
This car is a one-of-a-kind not simply for the fact that I created it from ground up but I added certain features that no other Cobra kit has. This car will definitely be the talk of the town.
SPECS
Frame: 4” round tube with .120 wall thickness. The original Cobras were .095 thick and were subject to bending.
Engine: 302 Ford V8 with GT 40 heads with roller cam and rockers. 750 cfm holley carb. Dura Spark II ignition. 350 hp .
Transmission: 98 Ford AOD (from a Lincoln MK7).
Rear axle: Live axle from a 1998 Lincoln MK7, 8.8, 3.27 ratio, with traction “lok” differential and disc brakes. 3-link set-up with adjustable pinion angle rod.
Front suspension: Flaming River tubular upper A arms and Mustang 5.0 calipers and disc brakes. Coil over shocks front and rear.
Interior: Heater and defroster. 4-way power seats from Lincoln MK7. Electric wipers. Seat belts (lap only). Full roll bar.
Steering: Razor sharp steering via tubular suspension with unequal length upper and lower A-arms with adjustable coil-over aluminum body rod end shocks. Flaming River rack and pinion steering. The drive train is smooth and crisp which makes the car fun to drive in either open road or city driving.
Performance: Zero to sixty in 3.75 seconds. With the AOD transmission, this car gets 26 MPG in city traffic. The latest gauge was 131 miles at 75 MPH using 4.82 gallons of gasoline.
Added features: Windshield wipers, heater/defroster, power seats
She sounds like a lion and moves like a cheetah. Just gorgeous! Come check her out in person.
